In 2006 he resisted the then President Olusegun Obasanjo from having a third term in office as President which could have led Obasanjo into perpetuating himself in office like we see in Cameroon and other African countries today. Sen. Ken Nnamani as the President of the Senate at the time resisted him by making sure that voting on it on the floor of the Senate was transparent and televised. He told Senators to go back to their respective districts and consult their people on the issue. He ensured that it died a natural death.

Imagine Godswill Akpabio or Ahmad Lawan being the Senate President that time, by now Obasanjo would still be presiding over Nigeria. They can see it that it's Igbo people that are preserving democracy in Nigeria and cementing the existential bond of the blocs Nigeria is componented.

Barr. Peter Ndubuisi Mbah, Gov. of Enugu State has shipped in 100 electric buses and still shipping in another 200 for the purpose of equipping Enugu with ease of transportation. He wants the high cost of transportation in Enugu to be a thing of the past. He has built a digital bus terminal at the Holy Ghost area of Enugu for this purpose. Everything is found in this bus terminal. Nothing is lacking including digital exchanges.

After four years of leading Enugu, Peter Mbah will have embarrassed other eastern governors with performance. He's even embarrassing them already. Nkanu Ogbuzuru

It is with deep sorrow, and deep sense of loss that the Nkanụ Ogbuzuru family regret to see this our brother, a proud son of Nkanụ land, Okezie Chikezie Mba, murdered in cold blood. He was an Ambassador of Nkanụ culture via his ogene music.

We call on the general public to join the call for swift and thorough investigation into the circumstances surrounding his death. Those calling on the Enugu State Governor, His Excellency Peter Ndubuisi Mbah to sack and detain the Police officer should understand the highly limited authority and power of the governor over the police just like every other governor in the country. The governor simply does not have the power to do that. However, the governor can ensure that all the legal services required to get to the bottom of the he case are provided.

The rumor that the Late Ogene Icon was a cultist may be true but definitely not a reason to murder him without giving him a fair trial. It is not within the police to decide who dies and who lives, it is solely the duty of the judiciary if it gets to that. There is no rumour that the late Ogene Icon engaged them in a gun duel, that would cause him to be shot at for more than 3 times, according to reports.

We also appeal to the governor to involve the services of seasoned private investigator because we demand and deserve to know the truth of the matter, and also for justice to be served.
