💫 Dear Fresher, Read This Before You Start 💫
1. First of all, know God and trust in Him.
He’s your true source of strength and direction.
2. Read!
You can only build your GPA from 100 level. Start strong.
3. Your roommate is not automatically your friend.
Be friendly, but stay observant and cautious.
4. Keep all your payment receipts.
You’ll need them for final-year clearance, or you might pay double.
5. Don’t rush to make friends.
Observe people first before getting close.
6. Never postpone payment if you have the money.
Handle your dues immediately.
7. Don’t make yourself too available.
Be disciplined, act with purpose, and never let anyone pressure you.
Keep your plans private; let your actions speak.
8. Stay humble.
Greet your lecturers when you see them. They notice students who respect them.
9. Never predict your exam scores.
Just do your best and move on.
10. Don’t cook for others for free all the time.
Learn to say no. Protect your time, energy, and resources.
11. If you date in school, keep it private.
Focus on your goals. Study hard and pray harder.
12. When money comes in, prioritize foodstuffs.
Stock up before spending on eating out.
13. Balance your social and academic life.
You can enjoy both, in moderation.
14. Don’t date a finalist or your coursemate.
It often ends in unnecessary drama.
15. Don’t type unnecessarily in class group chats.
Keep your messages relevant and mature.
