I met my husband in 2015. We started as friends, and at that time, I was still a virgin.
Because I was having problems with accommodation, I eventually started living with him. Along the line, I got pregnant, but he asked me to terminate the pregnancy, and I did.
Later, I became pregnant again. This time, he told me his mother would be angry if she found out, so I ended that pregnancy too.
The third time I got pregnant, he asked me to do the same thing, but I refused. I had reached my limit. I told him I wanted to leave, but he started begging me and promised that he was finally ready to take responsibility.
He took me to meet his mother, but the first thing she said to me was, “So you have come to scatter my plans for my son.”
From that moment, I knew she didn't want me in her son's life.
Fast-forward to the day of our traditional marriage. There was a serious fight, and even after I became his wife and gave birth to our children, my mother-in-law's hatred toward me never stopped.
There were times members of his family would beat me whenever they saw me on the road because we lived close to each other. Even my husband would beat me, then apologize afterward and beg me to forgive him.
My mother-in-law always found a way to turn my husband against me. She would come to our house without notice and sometimes stay for months, making life extremely difficult for me.
This is now 19 years of marriage, and we have three children.
Just last week, everything happened again. My husband beat me and sent me out of the house. He took some of the children, while I am currently with two of them.
But for the past four days, he has been begging me to come back.
My family has told me not to return immediately. They want me to come to the village first and for my husband to come there and apologize properly before any decision is made.
The painful part is that my husband is actually a good man in many ways. He loves me, and I know he cares about me. But I feel like his mother's influence has continued to come between us and destroy our marriage.
After everything that has happened, I am confused.
Should I listen to my husband and go back, or should I stand my ground and let him prove that things will truly change?
What would you do if you were in my shoes?

Sometimes, all you need is one more day to keep believing in yourself.
Don’t worry if your life isn’t where you want it to be yet. You are still growing, learning, and becoming stronger. Take things one day at a time. 🌱
May this morning bring you peace in your heart, clarity in your mind, and something beautiful you never expected. 🙏❤️
Keep going. Your story is not over yet. Have a blessed day! ✨

It’s been three years of marriage, but honestly, I feel like I’ve slowly lost myself.
The last time my husband and I were intimate was in January. Since then, months have passed, and I’ve been living like a shadow of the woman I used to be.
I feel lonely, unwanted, and emotionally drained. Sometimes I ask myself what went wrong and why things have changed so much between us.
I’m really tired of pretending that everything is okay when deep down, I’m hurting.
Please, I need sincere advice. What should I do?

Good morning, my people ❤️☀️
I just want to remind you this morning that whatever you’re going through, don’t give up on yourself. Some days are hard, things may not be working the way you want, but that doesn’t mean it will always be like that.
Take it one day at a time. Keep praying, keep trying, and keep believing. Your situation can change when you least expect it. 🙏❤️
May today bring you good news, peace of mind, and something that will make you smile. Have a beautiful day, everyone. 🌸☀️

Would you rather build everything from scratch with someone you truly love, or choose a financially stable partner even if the love isn’t strong?
No judging here—tell me what you would honestly choose. 👇🏽

I never thought the man I struggled with would one day ask me to leave everything behind. 💔
We started dating in 2006 while I was still in SSCE, and I got pregnant. I wanted to remove the pregnancy, but he accepted it, and my mother insisted I keep the baby.
His mother never liked me and always told me to leave her son.
When my baby was four months old, I started selling abacha. My business grew, and I used my own money to feed the family, buy clothes, and support the home.
We bought land together and built a house together. We now have four children.
But things have changed. My husband now listens to his family against me. He no longer eats my food and constantly puts me through emotional stress.
Then he told me, “Your name is not on the land documents. Leave the house.”
After all these years and everything I contributed, where am I supposed to start from?
If you were in my shoes, would you leave or fight for what you helped build? 💔
