Gratitude in Action: Ozalla Community Honors Governor Peter Mbah!

The people of Ozalla Community in Nkanu West Local Government Area came out in full force for a special thank-you visit to the Executive Governor of Enugu State, Dr. Peter Mbah, at his residence in Owo.

The atmosphere was filled with joy, cultural pride, and immense celebration as the delegation expressed their deepest appreciation to the Governor. The visit was organized to formally thank His Excellency for his pivotal role and strategic support in facilitating the landmark appointment of their brilliant son, Dr. Kingsley Tochi Udeh, SAN, as the Honorable Minister of Innovation, Science and Technology.

It is always beautiful to see what happens when impactful leadership elevates local talent to the national stage. This milestone brings incredible pride not just to the people of Ozalla, but to the entirety of Enugu State!

🚨 APC SET FOR ENUGU LG ELECTIONS AS 17 CANDIDATES RECEIVE TICKETS

The race for the September 26, 2026 Local Government Elections in Enugu State is officially heating up!

The All Progressives Congress (APC) has presented Certificates of Return to 17 chairmanship candidates who emerged victorious during the party's direct primaries.

Out of the 17 candidates, 12 are incumbent Local Government Chairmen seeking another term, while 5 new contenders have secured the party's ticket to fly the APC flag in their respective council areas.

Speaking during the presentation, Enugu APC Chairman, Dr. Martin Chukwunweike, described the primaries as peaceful, transparent, and successful. He expressed confidence that the party is well-positioned to make a strong showing in the upcoming elections.

The party leadership also charged the candidates to remain focused on delivering quality leadership and strengthening grassroots governance across their local government areas.

On behalf of the candidates, Hon. Uchenna Okolo and Engr. Jude Asogwa praised Governor Peter Mbah's administration for granting financial autonomy to the 17 Local Government Areas and for executing development projects at the grassroots level.

They assured party members and supporters that their campaigns would focus on performance, development, and tangible achievements that residents can see and verify.

With September 26 fast approaching, political activities are expected to intensify across the state as parties continue preparations for the crucial grassroots elections.
