I started a lipgloss/ lipcare business while I was still in school, business was going so well ever since then until the end of 2024. I suddenly stopped showing up for my business ( please don’t judge me) I can explain 🥹
I moved to a new city,relocation took a toll on me still trying to settle in and adjust there I got pregnant.
Pregnancy as a first time mom in a new town was not easy for me. I had to stop business not because I wanted but the situation didn’t give me any choice but that. I was still talking orders I could easily handle but I stopped posting online . I was thinking once I have the baby I will have all the time and strength for my business I didn’t know motherhood was an entirely different job . I eventually had my baby successful but my body failed me it couldn’t handle nurturing a child and running my business 🤦♀️
I tried.. I really did but it wasn’t working so I took a break.
Women don’t really talk about how pregnancy and childbirth can slow down some aspects of your life. This isn’t everyone’s story, but in my case, running a business and embracing motherhood wasn’t easy to balance. I’m glad I’ve reached this point. I’m back, and my lip care business is ready to shine ✨.
I’ve reignited my passion, and it’s time to give your lips the love they deserve.
Taking this well-deserved break gave me clarity to strategize on the next step for growth and to see how I can improve. It gave me time to reflect on the need for growth, which led to our rebranding.
I am happy to announce that we’re back, redefined, repolished, and ready for you.
