It is no longer news that Amechi Uwani is experiencing a positive transformation, thanks to the visionary leadership and generosity of Chief Chukwudi Egbo (popularly known as Chudac). This transformation is rooted in the bold vision of the National Youth Leader, Ikechukwu Odo Nsude, who has consistently championed practical youth empowerment through skill acquisition as a sustainable pathway to personal and community development. Inspired by this vision, Chief Chukwudi Egbo embraced the idea and took it further by launching a remarkable empowerment initiative that now offers life-changing vocational training to fourteen young individuals one from each kindred in Amechi Uwani under the inspiring theme: “Ọlụ Aka Dị Mkpa Na Ụwa Taa” (“Handwork is Essential in Today’s World”).
This programme is jointly coordinated by Ikechukwu Odo Nsude (National Youth Leader) and Hon. Peter Agbo (Sir P*e), who has played a key supportive role from planning to ex*****on.

In an emotionally moving address, Chief Chukwudi Egbo (Chudac) shared the personal conviction behind his sponsorship. He stated that his support is not born out of abundance, but from a deep calling to serve and invest in the youth of his community.
He pledged to continue the initiative annually and announced that each trainee would receive a monthly support stipend of ₦20,000 throughout the training period to help cover transportation and personal needs.
He also announced that the training will commence officially on the 1st of August 2025, and that all agreements and documentation must be completed before then.
In an additional show of generosity, the keynote speaker Pastor Ndubuisi Agbo also pledged to support the programme by covering one month of transportation costs for all the trainees.
