A drunk keke rider was reportedly spotted after passing out while driving along Presidential Road.

People nearby first thought something serious had happened and quickly rushed to help, pouring water on him to revive him.

Only to later realize the man had actually passed out because he was drunk 😳

They had to push him and his keke to the side of the road so he could sleep it off.

This is wrong on so many levels. Imagine the kind of accident this could have caused.

A tragic and disturbing incident has reportedly occurred in Nsukka, Enugu State, where a man decapitated his own mother.

According to reports, the victim’s sister-in-law returned home and reportedly caught the suspect in the act, raising an alarm that drew the attention of villagers.

Angry youths in the community reportedly descended on him before he was later rescued and taken into police custody.

When questioned, the suspect allegedly claimed he acted because he was hungry and his mother told him there was no food in the house.

Some residents have suggested that the suspect may be battling mental instability.

Police investigations are ongoing.

This young girl from Amalla Egazi, a well-known community in the Nsukka axis of Enugu State (Udenu LGA), is currently in **** under the custody of the **** after allegedly being deceived by her mother’s friend.

According to reports, the woman convinced her mother to allow the girl travel with her to Ghana for a holiday, claiming she would help out in her boutique business.

Sadly, on getting to Ghana, she discovered it was all a lie — the woman allegedly intended to force her into prostitution.

Bravely, she escaped and ran to the nearest police station for help.

Be careful what you eat- Food vendor advises Nigerians after spottting two women trying to blend maggot infested pepper in Lagos market

A food vendor has shared a disturbing video showing the moment two women were caught while attempting to grind spoiled pepper infested with maggots at Mile 12 Market.

In the viral video, the women were accused of bringing rotten pepper from their home to be processed into paste for stews and soups. The footage also showed a bucket filled with pepper crawling with maggots, drawing angry reactions from viewers online.

The Tik Toker who posted the video revealed that one of the omen fled the scene while the other was apprehended.

⚡ Several Band A Feeders in Enugu Downgraded to Band C and Below

The (EERC) has directed to immediately downgrade 59 electricity feeders across Enugu State after failing to meet the required minimum power supply hours for customers, especially those on Band A tariffs.

According to EERC, customers have been paying Band A rates (minimum 20 hours daily supply) but receiving far less electricity than promised.

Affected areas include:
📍 9th Mile Industrial
📍 Abakaliki Road
📍 Abakpa
📍 Emene
📍 Presidential
📍 UNEC
📍 UNN Nsukka
📍 Government House
📍 Coal Camp
…and many others.

The Commission says the downgrade will remain until MainPower improves supply and meets the required service standards.

The sister of the boy who was reportedly drowned while fetching water in Enugu has come out to clear the air.

Kosiso Nwachukwu a student of College of Immaculate Conception CIC Enugu, died while fetching water from the school reservoir was buried last week.

The sister explained that her brother died as a result of drowning and not bully as was widely believed.

The video has also raised a lot of questions on, Why students are made to fetch water from such dangerous place.

A tragic incident has shaken residents of Enugu after a 9-year-old girl, Miss Ogechi Amanda John, was allegedly beaten to death by her stepmother at their residence in Nchatancha, Emene.

The suspect, Mrs. Ogechi John, was reportedly arrested by the police on Monday following the heartbreaking incident, which allegedly occurred on Sunday afternoon.

Neighbours revealed that the late Amanda had allegedly endured repeated maltreatment before the tragic event.

Reacting to the incident, the Enugu State Government, through the Commissioner for Children, Gender Affairs and Social Development, Mrs. Ngozi Enih, condemned the act and reaffirmed the state’s zero tolerance for child abuse and homicide.

The government says it is committed to ensuring swift justice for the young victim.

A fire outbreak has been reported at Mother of Christ Specialist Hospital in Enugu State, damaging parts of the hospital and causing panic among residents in the area.

However, what has drawn widespread attention is the reported sight of the Virgin Mary statue remaining untouched, despite the severity of the fire around the hospital premises.

Eyewitnesses described the scene as shocking and unbelievable, as videos and photos from the incident continue to spread online.

Thankfully, no casualties have been officially reported at the time of this post.
