But wait o 🤔… Have you noticed that in this our generation, we Igbos have not discovered any new traditional food to add to what our ancest0rs gave us?

We are still eating the same foods our forefathers discovered without adding new varieties. Our forefathers discovered Ji, Ụgba (Ụkpaka), turned cassava into Utara, Abacha. They also discovered Ukwa, Achi, Ọfọ, Ọktoba, Ede, Ube Mgba, Ube, Akụ, Abba etc.

What could be the case? Does it mean our ancest0rs were more intelligent than us when it comes to discovering food from the things around us
