,
Welcome to a brand new week.
Hope you had a restful weekend....and you're reignited, re- fired and ready for the new week.π₯°
Let's talk about "Hands on learning".
Hands on learning is a form of experiential learning where the learners learn through experience or by doing.
In rote learning , the learners play a passive role.
Active learning is concerned with more concrete issues related to the learner and the learning process. Eg : using the sand tray to write letters, tying of shoe lace, pouring, planting bean seeds in nursery beds, using the abacus, using the colourful balls to identify different colours, use of flash cards for sorting, etc.
This is the 21st century , when you teach , let the learners see and touch . Eg : touching different surfaces when explaining rough, smooth, etc .
Your teaching shouldn't be abstract , show them what you mean , let them touch as well where it's possible.
Learning is so much fun when hands on activities are involved.
