Dear Teachers, here's what I heard a teacher say today during her micro teaching interview.

"A verb is a word that replaces a noun ."

I just started feeling dizzy immediately.
The room where I was started spinning. 😳😵‍💫🙈

You say whaaaaaa?😱

So this is what this 'Teacher' is planning to tell the learners in her class if employed.

Fada lawd!!!!!🫣

Then , you're told to invest in your professional development as a teacher ....I ju! You refuse!

Go for trainings.....mba!

Then how will get mastery of the content you want to teach?

Today, we celebrate the uniqueness and creativity of left-handed individuals who make up about 10% of the world's population.

Being left-handed in a predominantly right-handed world comes with its challenges, from using right-handed scissors to adapting to classroom and workplace setups designed for right-handers.

Challenges Faced by Left-Handers:

🍒Daily Inconveniences : Simple tasks like using kitchen utensils, computer mice, or spiral notebooks can be frustrating for left-handers.

🍒Design Bias : Many products, from school desks to office equipment, are designed with right-handers in mind, making life more difficult for left-handers.

🍒Historical Stigma: Left-handedness was once considered unlucky or even sinister, leading to bullying and forced "retraining" of left-handed children. I know some teachers that had left hand learners in their classroom and they desperately tried to force them to change to writing with their right hand ....this is very ,very wrong and dangerous, such act may adversely affect such learners. Please teachers ..if you have a left hand learner in your class, don't attempt to change it ...that child is unique.

I totally agree with this ....
We need to start holding learners accountable for their actions indeed.

Parents need to sit up in the area of discipline so that teachers can do their job of teaching and not school training. It's called ' home training ' for a reason .

School leaders should discipline learners that have refused to behave without minding whose ox is gored.....because of the surge of school everywhere you go, school owners find it hard to look parents in the eye and tell them the needful because of the fear that those parents will leave and go register their children in another school.

Hmmm!! A lot is at stake for all stake holders.
We can all actually do better....not minding if it's the era of Gen z, Gen X or Gen Alpha.

I remember years back ...as far back as the 90s , in my first years in the teaching profession. I started out as a very , very quiet person, absolutely shy...😂😅😅

I could hardly talk in public....but I was born to teach. I was a totally different person in the classroom and a timid person outside my element. 😂😎
A brother in my fellowship then asked me if I was the one teaching my children ( learners in my class) or if they were teaching me..🤣😅😅😂 because I was mute outside the classroom. Of course, I didn't answer that question....but as time , years went by in the profession, I evolved.

I was named one of the best three in that school where I started this career and I've always being the best in any school I find myself in , since then.
Now ? My confidence level is at the roof tops, before you see me ...I have seen you ooo.😎
My only problem is that I might say what you won't want me to say...chai !!! I say it as it is...still learning to keep quiet in that area.

So what type of teacher are you?
The teaching profession is not for quiet people ooo.

For me, I am that teacher that is involved in empowering educators.
As a teacher of teachers, my niche is empowering educators with the skills, knowledge, and confidence to thrive in 21st-century classrooms.

I focus on bridging the gap between pedagogy and technology, fostering innovative teaching practices, and nurturing a growth mindset.
