Some people don’t push you forward, They slowly bury you alive.
Let that sink in.
Not every friend wants your future. Not every laugh is love. Not every circle is safe.
Some people clap when you fall. Some people smile while you shrink. Some people call it “fun” while your destiny is bleeding.
And the painful truth is you don’t fall into failure overnight. You hang around it. You breathe it.
You befriend it. Until one day, You look in the mirror and you don’t recognize who you’ve become.
You used to dream. Now you just survive. You used to be disciplined. Now excuses feel normal. You used to believe in more. Now you settle for less. Not because you’re weak, But because you stayed too long with people who made weakness comfortable.
Bad company doesn’t always drag you.
Sometimes it slowly convinces you to sit down.
They say, relax you’re young. Everybody does it.
Chill, tomorrow is there. But tomorrow is not promised, and destiny does not wait.
While you’re joking, your time is running. While you’re fitting in, your purpose is starving.

Look around, are your friends building something or escaping something?
Do they talk about growth or gossip?
Do they push you to rise, or pressure you to waste? Do they challenge your bad habits or celebrate them?
Because the circle you choose today, creates the life you live tomorrow.
Right people don’t entertain your laziness,
they confront it.
Right people don’t mock your dreams.
They protect them.
Right people don’t pull you down.
They pull you up.
They make you uncomfortable, because growth is uncomfortable.
They make you accountable, because greatness requires discipline.
They don’t let you hide.They don’t let you quit.
They don’t let you shrink. And yes, walking away will hurt. You’ll lose people.
You’ll be called proud. You’ll be misunderstood.
You’ll feel lonely, but listen..
Lonely with a future, is better than surrounded with nothing. Outgrowing people is not betrayal, it is self-respect.
Choosing yourself is not selfish.
It is survival.
You cannot heal in the same place that broke you.
You cannot rise in the same circle that keeps you small.
You cannot become great while holding hands with people who love being average.
So today,
Choose growth over comfort.
Choose discipline over pleasure.
Choose purpose over popularity.
Protect your mind. Protect your time. Protect your destiny. Because who walks with you,
determines where you end up.
You were not created to be normal.You were not born to waste your life.
You were not designed for smallness.

Step away.
