I once served under the Benue state Ministry of Justice, markurdi & BSU. My stay wasn’t 💯 rosy but one thing I won’t take away from the Tiv people is that they’re very welcoming, nice and accommodating. My employer in the BSU (Barr. Mrs Mnyin Muese) wasn’t just an employer, she was a mother figure to me in that state. A big woman but very humble and good through and through.🤍
The day I visited Aliede (My Dad’s friend house), a town in benue state I was treated like a celebrity, the way this man’s family and most of the villagers came to welcome me ehn🥰…I was blushing from ear to ear, the way I was served? The hospitality was crazy mehn.
The tiv people are sweet and peaceful people and it’s very sad that this is happening to them, the gory pictures I have been seeing is really heart wrecking, the benue state people are gradually going in to extinction and the Nigerian government is doing nothing about it. They only focus on frivolities and it is just very sad, the benue state people don’t deserve this at all, they don’t 💔
