Tr@gic: Benue Lady St@bbed to D£ath by Ex-Boyfriend in Lagos
A young woman from Benue State has sadly lost her life in Lagos after being att@cked by her ex-boyfriend, two years after their breakup.
The victim, an interior decorator and fresh NYSC graduate, was reportedly ambushed in her home on Thursday night by the suspect, identified as Lintex Ogale.
Family sources revealed that the relationship ended back in August 2023, but Ogale allegedly kept disturbing her life, insisting that if he couldn’t have her, no one else would.
According to neighbours, he disguised as a dispatch rider to gain entry into her estate. When stopped at the gate, he scaled the fence, c¥t her gas pipe in an attempt to cause an expl%sion, and later forced his way into her apartment—where he st@bbed her multiple times.
He allegedly tried to end his own life after the act but was overpowered by neighbours and handed over to the police.
The victim’s family has described her as a vibrant, hardworking lady whose bright future was snatched away by what they called “a toxic love turned deadly.”
Police say investigations are ongoing.
