Meeting with BOI Officials
The Lagos BDSP team today visited the Bank of Industry (BOI) office in Ikeja, where we were warmly received by the state coordinator. During the meeting, he provided valuable insights into BOI's operational framework, emphasizing the organization's primary focus on supporting industrialization in Nigeria.
While other businesses may also be considered, the key factor is the viability and potential for returns on investment. BOI's primary concern is ensuring that the businesses they support can generate sufficient revenue to repay the loan.
The State Coordinator stressed that BOI's objective is not to distribute funds indiscriminately but rather to support businesses that can drive economic growth and development. The team appreciated the opportunity to engage with BOI officials and gain a deeper understanding of their requirements and expectations.
We were there to complete our documentation as Business Development Service provider (BDSP)
