When people hear "breast c@nc£r," many immediately think, "The breast has to be removed."
But that's not always true.

Every breast c@nc£r diagnosis is different. Depending on the type, stage, and other factors, some people may be treated with breast-conserving surgery (lumpectomy), while others may need a mastectomy. The right treatment is based on medical evaluation.... Not assumptions.

Don't ignore unusual changes in your breasts.

I want to ask this anonymously. After finishing my antimalarial injections, my buttock became swollen and very itchy at the injection site. Is there any medication I can take to stop the itching and help the swelling go down?

My advice 👩‍⚕️

Mild itching and swelling at the injection site can happen after an antimalarial injection. Avoid scratching the area, and apply a cold compress to help reduce the discomfort.

If the swelling gets worse, becomes very painful, starts producing pus, difficulty breathing or develops a rash, go to the hospital immediately for assessment.
