Victor Osimhen is willing to accept a weekly wage of just under £200,000 at Manchester United, contrary to reports suggesting he wants £300,000 per week, according to transfer expert Fabrizio Romano.

The clarification comes amid speculation that INEOS are reluctant to meet the Nigerian striker’s supposed wage demands as they look to trim United’s bloated wage bill.

Romano told Givemesport that reports of Osimhen demanding around £300,000 per week are “wide of the mark” and that the Napoli striker is prepared to accept a more modest salary.

“He just wants his current salary (around €12m net, £10.2m per season) to be respected, nothing different. Same as one year ago,” Romano explained.

The reduced wage expectations could pave the way for United to make a move for the 26-year-old, especially considering Mason Mount earns £250,000 per week at Old Trafford.

Iran:

▪️ The enemy is under the delusion that it has damaged our nuclear installations — but we had already uncovered its conspiracies back in March!
▪️ We had timely moved all strategic materials to secure locations. Uranium is still fully under our control; the enemy is striking at mere smoke!
▪️ This war is not a surprise for us — it was anticipated! We were ready, we are ready — and we will deliver a response that history will remember!

“We had already sharpened our swords (prepared for war) — now the time has come to draw them from their sheaths!”

This is the land of revolution… here, every strike is calculated, and every blow is delivered with faith!

🇮🇷 🇺🇸 US President Donald Trump dabbles again with the idea of a leadership change in Iran.

On Truth Social, he said:

“It’s not politically correct to use the term, “Regime Change,” but if the current Iranian Regime is unable to MAKE IRAN GREAT AGAIN, why wouldn’t there be a Regime change???” Trump said.

“MIGA!!!” he said concluding his post, using his trademark tagline.

Iran on Sunday threatened US bases in the Middle East after massive air strikes that Washington said had destroyed Tehran’s nuclear program, though some officials cautioned that the extent of damage was unclear. li Akbar Velayati, an advisor to Iran’s supreme leader Ayatollah Ali Khamenei, said bases used by US forces could be attacked in retaliation.

“Any country in the region or elsewhere that is used by American forces to strike Iran will be considered a legitimate target for our armed forces,” he said in a message carried by the official IRNA news agency. America has attacked the heart of the Islamic world and must await irreparable consequences.”

BREAKING NEWS: Iran’s Parliament Voted To Shut Down Strait Of Hormuz In Retaliation Against US Attacks, Raising Fears Of Oil Price Spike

By Alex Ike Offor

Iran’s parliament has voted to shut down the vital strait of Hormuz shipping channel in retaliation against strikes ordered by President Donald Trump against Iran’s nuclear sites.

This move has prompted fears of sharp increase in oil prices that could cause a global recession.

A barrel of Brent crude was selling for about $77 on Friday, having risen by more than 10% since mid-June when Israel’s first attack on Iranian nuclear sites prompted retaliatory missile strikes from Tehran against Tel Aviv.

But Trump’s decision to follow Israel by launching a US attack on Iran has set off a chain of events that analysts warned could drive prices up much further when markets open at 11pm UK time on Sunday.

A fifth of the world’s oil consumption flows through the strait of Hormuz, which is a gateway out of the Persian Gulf.

The vote, reported by Reuters, is not binding because the final decision rests with the Iran’s Supreme National Security Council. But analyst were already predicting a spike of up to $5 before the result of the vote was known.

Iranian president Masoud Pezeshkian has asserted that Tehran’s right to pursue a civilian nuclear programme is protected under international law and “cannot be taken away” by conflict, as the country enters its ninth day of military confrontation with Israel.

In a phone conversation with French president Emmanuel Macron, Pezeshkian reiterated Iran’s longstanding position that its nuclear ambitions are peaceful and lawful.

Israeli Government Says 'Eliminat.ing’ Iran’s Supreme Leader Ayatollah Is Now Official Goal

Israel’s Defence Minister, Israel Katz, has issued a direct and unprecedented threat to Iran’s Supreme Leader, Ayatollah Ali Khamenei, declaring that “eliminating” him is now one of Israel’s official war goals.

In his words: “A man like [Khamenei] has always aimed at destroying Israel through his agents.

“This man, who is willing to attack us, must not stay alive. This matter, the matter of stopping this man, eliminating him, is part of the campaign, and we now understand his role because before, he was talking about the destruction of Israel.”

Katz added that Khamenei “cannot continue to exist”, intensifying what observers are calling a dangerous shift in Israel’s strategy from targeting Iran’s nuclear infrastructure to open declarations of regime decapitation, Al jazeera reports.

The statement follows Iranian missile strikes that damaged four sites in Israel, including Soroka Medical Center in Beersheba, one of the country’s largest hospitals. Iran said its “main target” was a nearby Israeli military and intelligence facility.

The International Atomic Energy Agency (IAEA) noted that Iran is not complying with nuclear safeguard obligations but stated it has seen “no evidence” that Iran is developing nuclear weapons.

Iran’s Foreign Ministry called IAEA Director Rafael Grossi’s remarks “too late” and accused the agency of “biased” reporting that gave Israel a “pretext” for attack.

Israel’s response included an airstrike on Iran’s non-operational Arak heavy water reactor. The IAEA confirmed there were “no radiological effects” from the strike.

As tensions surged, Bulgaria evacuated its embassy in Tehran and withdrew diplomatic staff, citing Israeli warnings to residents in nearby areas.

Buildings near Tel Aviv’s stock exchange were cordoned off over debris concerns, while a direct missile impact in Holon caused a building to collapse.

US Special Envoy for Syria Tom Barrack warned Hezbollah against intervening: “I can say on behalf of President Trump … that would be a very, very, very bad decision.”

Meanwhile, Turkiye strengthened its border with Iran and kept its air patrols active, saying it remained on high alert. A Defence Ministry source confirmed that Turkish radar and missile defence systems were prepared for any developments.

Former US President Donald Trump also commented on the situation, posting on social media: “We are not going to take him out (kill!), at least not for now … Our patience is wearing thin.”

Iran’s Foreign Minister Abbas Araghchi announced plans to meet with his British, French, and German counterparts in Geneva, along with the EU’s top diplomat, at their request.

In the Gulf, the Al Udeid Air Base in Qatar, a major US military installation, showed signs of aircraft dispersal in new satellite imagery.

A similar shift was earlier observed at the US 5th Fleet’s base in Bahrain, a common precaution to limit vulnerability in the event of a strike.
