✨Guess what? My favorite Asian store just opened a second branch right next to the old one , but this one is fully stocked with African foods, especially Nigerian!

Now let me be honest… I actually prefer shopping at the Asian-owned stores over most of the Nigerian ones near me. Why?
👉🏽 Clear price tags (no guesswork 👌🏽)
👉🏽 No guilt trips or bombastic side eyes if you window-shop 😂
👉🏽 Fair and respectful service.

Meanwhile, the last time I went to a Nigerian store, the lady literally tossed my coins onto the glass counter 🙄. That was my cue to dust my slippers and never go back.

Anyway, this new Asian store has everything the African shops carry. Only hiccup so far? I bought a bad batch of ground ogbono that ruined my pot of soup 🥹 (I had to flush it all down the drain, money + time wasted 💔). So, no ogbono for me again… unless it’s imported and I blend/grind it myself.

Cooking reputation must be protected at all costs 😅👩🏽‍🍳.
