MBCN GENERAL COUNCIL 18-29 JANUARY, 2021.
All Glory and Adoration to God almighty as the MBCN General Council started with organizational councils and Board meetings since 18-28th January, 2021.
Today 29th January, 2021 the GC started at exactly 8:00AM with opening Song and prayer led by Rev. Sam Chigia MBCN GPB Committee Chairman
Devotion by Rev. Joseph T. Nagombe MBCN Vice President.
Text: 2nd Corinthians 3:1-6.
Topic: You are Christ letter to the World.
After the devotion the MBCN Executive President Rev. Godwill Sol welcomed the GC members and called the meeting to order and urged all GC Members to feel free and contribute positively to the growth and development of our Dear MBCN. Mr. President declared the meeting open.
Chance was given to the MBCN General Secretary Rev. Moses l. Yibon to read the previous minute to the hearing of the GC. After long deliberation on the previous minute it was moved, seconded and carried that the previous minute be closed.
MBCN EXECUTIVE PRESIDENT REPORT
Mr. President in his report thanked the GC members for praying and standing by the EC since the inception of this administration.
He further said that since we boarded our ship in September and headed toward a destination of success, we experienced lots of ups and downs. However, we proceeded toward success despite the wave of the sea.
PARTNERSHIP
Mr. President said, this journey took the EC to the depth of the sea where they were able to engage themselves in fruitful dialogues with some missionaries to Come back on the Field. He also said that some of the Missionaries have given affirmative response to re-engage their commitment to MBCN.
Mr. President in his report drew the attention of the GC to his report presented during the 2020 annual Bible Conference where MBCN partnered with CHAN to get drugs. That within the short possible time, MBCN has updated yearly outstanding dues for five years, as such MBCN has started receiving contributions and donations from some of our partners.
The MBCN Executive President Rev. Godwill Sol reported that the long lingering issue of Warwar 1st MBCN Church has since been resolved and that all other processes will be handle administratively.
TEKAN ASSEMBLY 2021
Mr. President in his report said that the TEKAN Assembly would have since been hosted from the 13th-18th January, 2021 but due to the second phase of the Covid 19 Pandemic and insecurity in the country. In view of this, new date will be announced.
Mr. President concluded his report by urging the Executive Council members to deliberate wisely to come up with workable resolutions for the growth of the MBCN and above all the growth of the work of the Master Jesus Christ.
