The Association Of Radiographers Of Nigeria (ARN) Gombe State branch is wishing all Radiographers a happy World Radiography Day.
8th November of each year is celebrated by Radiographers worldwide as world Radiography Day.
This is in commemoration of the discovery of X-ray by Sir Wilhelm Conrad Roentgen on 8th November, 1895.
This discovery have lead to a paradigm shift in medical practice from trial and error to evidence based practice.
Radiographers uses X-rays and other forms of radiant energy for diagnosis and treatment of diseases.
Join us to celebrate this year's World Radiography Day by 3:00PM at State Specialist Hospital Gombe.

2ND SCIENTIFIC WORKSHOP OF ARN GOMBE STATE BRANCH

Last year ARN Gombe branch pioneered branch scientific workshop.

In continuation of delivering on this mandate, the branch wishes to announce it's 2nd scientific workshop in collaboration with RRBN and Northeast Zonal Office of NNRA

The workshop which will be a one day event will take place on Saturday 30th July, 2022

The theme of the workshop is: Radiation protection and quality control in Nigerian setting: A growing concern.

The subtheme is: Quality assurance and Quality control; A wider approach to radiation safety.

The event will feature paper presentations from versatile resource persons in the field and branch congress meeting.

The event will be broadcasted live via this page.
