Women Traders Hail Sardauna LG Chairman, Urge Him to Continue for a second Term

Market women in Gembu have expressed deep appreciation for the remarkable leadership of Hon. M. J. Umar, Executive Chairman of Sardauna Local Government. During a visit to the Mini Market, Mayanka (Abbatoir site), the women applauded his proactive governance and people-centered policies, particularly his effort in providing them with a safer and more organized space to carry out their daily business activities. According to the women, the relocation initiative not only enhanced their trading conditions but also significantly reduced the risks they previously faced while conducting business along the busy roadside.

They commended Hon. M. J. Umar for prioritizing their welfare and creating an enabling environment for economic growth and empowerment. REPRESENTATIVES OF ALL TRIBES ON THE MAMBILLA PLATEAU ENDORSE HON. M. J. UMAR FOR SECOND TERM, PASS VOTE OF CONFIDENCE IN HIS ADMINISTRATION

In a landmark show of unity and political affirmation, representatives of all ethnic groups on the Mambilla Plateau have unanimously endorsed the Executive Chairman of Sardauna Local Government, Hon. M. J. Umar (Maitaman Mambilla), for a second term in office. The endorsement, which came during a well-attended gathering, signals overwhelming grassroots support for Hon. Earlier this afternoon, Maitaman Mambilla, Hon. M. J. Umar, Executive Chairman of Sardauna Local Government Area alongside the Honourable Vice Chairman Rev. P G Ngantem, attended the meeting of the PDP Elders Forum held at the PDP LG Secretariat.

The meeting centered on offering elder statesman advice, sharing valuable input for governance, and commending the tremendous strides made under the leadership of Hon. M. J. Umar, whose administration has brought significant development to the Mambilla Plateau.

The Forum reaffirmed their unwavering support for both his administration and that of His Excellency, Dr. Agbu Kefas, the Governor of Taraba State, pledging continued collaboration for the progress of the LG and the state.

NFSS Pays Familiarization Visit to Hon. M. J. Umar

The Nigeria Forest Security Services (NFSS), Sardauna Local Government branch, paid a familiarization visit to the Chief Security Officer of the Local Government, Hon. M. J. Umar Maitaman Mambilla. CONDOLENCE:

The remains of Late Alhaji Yusuf Ngwanya, former Chairman of the Nigeria Labour Congress (NLC), Sardauna Branch, were laid to rest in the early hours of today in accordance with Islamic rites.

The funeral prayers (Salat al-Janazah) which held at the Mallam Ashana mosque, witnessed the presence of the Executive Chairman of Sardauna Local Government, Hon. M. J. Umar, alongside Muslim Ummah, family, and friends of the deceased.

In his remarks, Hon. M. J. Umar extended heartfelt condolences to the bereaved family, describing Late Yusuf Ngwanya as a committed and selfless leader whose contributions to the community remain commendable. He prayed to Allah (SWT) to forgive his shortcomings and grant him eternal rest in Aljanatul Firdaus.

The attention of the Executive Chairman, Sardauna Local Government Council, has been drawn to a viral video(s) of purported interview by one Babangida Hammanchamba, who is parading himself as a journalist on the Mambilla Plateau with the intent to incite division, conflict, and disrupt the unity and harmony among citizens, traditional & community leaders and stakeholders.

The Executive chairman hereby urge the general public to completely disregard the said video(s), as it is aimed at provoking unrest and undermining the peace that exists on the Mambilla Plateau and to also note that Babangida is neither a licensed or certified journalist.

Babangida Hammanchamba is strongly warned and advised to immediately desist from his unlawful and provocative actions, or face legal consequences. He should take note that if his so-called interview incites unrest or leads to any form of violence, destruction of property, or loss of life, he will be held fully responsible and accountable.
