Can we normalize saying "thank you" in marriage? Sometimes, we become so familiar with each other that we stop appreciating the little things. The meal that was prepared after a long day. The clothes that were washed. The bills that were paid. The child who was comforted at midnight. The quiet sacrifices that nobody else noticed.
Gratitude doesn't make you weak. It makes your spouse feel seen. A simple "Thank you." A sincere "I appreciate you." Those words may seem small, but they have the power to strengthen a marriage in ways we often overlook.
Never assume your spouse already knows they're appreciated. Tell them. Often.
💬 When was the last time someone sincerely thanked you for something you do every day?
