"THE FACT BETWEEN CHRISTIAN AND MUSLIM WE NEED TO KNOW"!
The salient fact distinguishing Christianity and Islam lies in their Christological and revelational foundations. Christianity, as articulated in John 14:6, posits Jesus Christ as the exclusive mediator of salvation, declaring: “I am the way and the truth and the life. No one comes to the Father except through me.” This Christocentric soteriology is inseparably linked to His incarnation, crucifixion, and resurrection.
Islam, by contrast, emphasizes uncompromising Tawḥīd (Divine Oneness), affirming in the Qur’ān, Sūrah Al-Ikhlāṣ 112:1–4: “Say: He is Allah, the One; Allah, the Eternal Refuge. He neither begets nor is born, nor is there to Him any equivalent.” In this hermeneutical framework, Jesus (‘Īsā) is revered as a noble prophet, yet not deified, while the Qur’ān itself (Sūrah Al-Baqarah 2:2) is extolled as the definitive and incorruptible revelation.
Thus, while both faiths share ethical imperatives of piety, charity, and devotion to God, the Bible elevates Christ as divine Redeemer, whereas the Qur’ān denies His divinity and underscores strict monotheism, forming the irreducible theological demarcation between the two traditions.
