Don't Lose Hope In Academy
In 2017 I applied Academy 69rc and the same time applied P***C , but Academy was the one in my mind, my first choice. During the procedures, I prayed to God for him to grant me my request which is for me to be a cadet of Nigerian Defence Academy, after the screening test, I made it to Armed Force Selection Board Interview being the number one in my state list, I was made the leader of my state during the screening, it wasn't easy on me a lot was just coming on mind, will I make it to Academy that what am seeing here and the news am hearing is saying it's not easy to make it to Academy as a cadet, that if screening test don't drop you , credential screening will drop you and if you don't get dropped , medical ( Almighty remover as many candidates do call it then) will definitely remove you it only takes a fit body to scale through that medical.
I was very very scared hearing that, I said to myself God here I am you made it possible for me to be here so shall you also make it possible for me to scale through all the stages ahead, but if is your wish that I am not made to be in Academy, I still have my second choice P***C I will go for it. As time continue going , credential screening was over and the results was called, and I successfully scale through, Medical stage came I also scale through, out of 40 candidates remaining after credential screening only 9 candidates successfully passed medical in my state. And NDA needed 10 candidates each state that year, 8 selected 2 reserves making total of 10 candidates to be selected for admission. I was among the 9 that made it to the final stage, I was selected, today am now in my fourth termer in Academy (4th Termer cadet)
One thing of it all is that trust in God and in what he can do, if it is your destiny to be in Academy you will definitely be here, no matter how long it will take, what's is yours is yours, don't lose hope and never give up.
