Working across multiple platforms teaches me something one tool never can, how email marketing actually thinks.

I've worked with both MailerLite and ConvertKit, and they each teach you something different.
MailerLite is where you learn to stay organised. It's list-based, structured, and straightforward.

Great for newsletters, campaigns, and product-based communication. It teaches you how to keep an audience clean and messaging consistent.

ConvertKit is where you learn to think in systems. It's built around tags and behaviour, subscribers move through journeys based on what they do, not just which list they're on. It teaches you how to build automations that respond, not just deliver.

Working across both tools sharpened my thinking in a way one platform alone never would have.

If you're learning email marketing, or offering it as a VA service, don't limit yourself to one tool. Understand the logic each one is built on.
Because clients don't just need someone who knows the software.

They need someone who understands how the system works.

Which tool have you worked with, MailerLite, ConvertKit, or both? Drop it in the comments.

There is a version of you that is not doing everything alone. That version has a Virtual Assistant.

Think about what your week actually looks like right now.

You are answering emails, scheduling calls, organising files, following up with clients, creating documents, managing your calendar and somehow still trying to find time to do the actual work that made you start your business in the first place.

That is too much for one person to carry.
And the truth is, you did not build your business to spend your days buried in tasks that pull you further away from your vision.

You built it because you had some
thing to offer. Something valuable. Something that deserves your full attention.

That is where I come in.

As an Administrative and Operations Support Virtual Assistant, I handle the behind the scenes work so you can stop spreading yourself thin and start showing up fully for the parts of your business that actually need you.

Inbox managed. Calendar organised. Systems in place. Operations running smoothly.
You focus on growing. I will handle the rest.

If this is the support your business has been missing, let us connect. I would love to learn more about what you need.

Every business that takes customer experience seriously needs one thing in place.

A system that makes sure no message gets missed, no request gets lost and no customer is left waiting longer than they should.

That is exactly what Freshdesk is built for.

Freshdesk is a customer support tool that helps businesses manage every customer conversation in one place. Tickets come in, they get assigned, tracked, prioritised and resolved without anything slipping through the cracks. And with automations in place, a lot of that happens without anyone having to do it manually every single time.

I recently worked inside Freshdesk as part of my VA work.

I set up the portal, created tickets and built automations.

And honestly? Sitting inside the tool and actually doing the work gave me a level of understanding that no class alone could give me. I could see how everything connects. How a business with the right setup can handle customer support smoothly without stress and without missing a single request.

I finished the task. I am proud of how it came out.

And I wanted to share it here because I do not just want to tell you what I can do. I want to show you.

Screenshots are attached. Take a look.

If you run a business and your customer support needs structure, I can help you set that up.

Let us connect.

The free VA toolkit that clients actually expect you to know.

Here is the truth nobody tells you when you are starting out as a Virtual Assistant.

Clients are not impressed by expensive tools. They are impressed by how well you use the basics.

These 5 free tools show up in almost every VA job description:

1. Google Workspace — Gmail, Google Drive, Google Docs, Google Calendar. This is the backbone of almost every VA business. Clients already use it. You already know it. Free.

2. Trello — This is how I track every task for every client. It keeps me organized and makes sure nothing falls through the cracks. Free.

3. Canva — For any design task a client throws at me. Social media graphics, presentations, flyers. The free version is powerful enough to do professional work.

4. Calendly — I use this to let clients book calls with me without the back and forth of "what time works for you?" It saves so much time. Free plan available.

5. Slack — This is how I communicate with clients who prefer not to use email. Clean, professional, and easy to use. Free.

You do not need to spend a single dollar to start your VA business. You just need to learn the right tools and use them well.
Which of these are you already using?

5 signs your business is ready for a Virtual Assistant right now.

Running a business can get overwhelming fast. The tasks keep growing, your time keeps shrinking, and suddenly you’re doing everything at once.

But sometimes, the problem is not that you need to work harder. It’s that your business has grown to the point where you need support.

Here are 5 signs it might be time to hire a Virtual Assistant:

🟣 Your inbox is running you instead of you running it.

You wake up, open your email and suddenly an hour is gone. Important messages get buried and responding to everything feels like a full time job on its own.

🟣 Your calendar feels impossible to keep up with.

You are trying to schedule calls, meet deadlines and show up for your clients all at once. It is a lot and some things are bound to slip through.

🟣 You are spending time on tasks that are pulling you away from your real work.

Data entry, file organisation, research, follow up emails. These things matter but they are quietly taking you away from the work that actually grows your business.

🟣 Your business is running on memory instead of systems.

You are keeping track of everything in your head because there has not been enough time to build proper processes. It works until it does not.

🟣 You constantly feel like there is not enough time in the day.

That feeling is exhausting. And it is not a reflection of how hard you are working. It just means you have reached the point where you need an extra pair of hands.
If any of these sound like where you are right now, it is okay. It means your business is growing and growth comes with new needs.

That is exactly where I come in.

I am Olamide, an Administrative and Operations Support Virtual Assistant and I am here to take the weight off your shoulders so you can breathe and focus on what you do best.

Let us connect. I would love to support you.

This is exactly how I onboard a new client in under 2 hours, tools, templates, and all.

The first impression your client gets is not your work. It is your process. Make it count.

A slow and confusing onboarding does not mean you are thorough. It means there is no system in place.

Endless back and forth emails, forgotten details and last minute panic should not be part of your onboarding process.

Here is my exact process:

Step 1 — Send a Welcome Email (15 minutes)
The moment a client says yes, I send a clean, professional welcome email with everything they need to know. What to expect, how we will communicate and what comes next. No guessing.

Step 2 — Share the Onboarding Form (20 minutes)
I use Google Forms to collect all the information I need upfront. Business details, passwords, preferred tools, working hours and priorities. Everything in one place before we even start.

Step 3 — Set Up the Workspace (30 minutes)
I create a shared Google Drive folder, set up their Trello board and organise everything by project and priority. The client can see exactly what is happening at every stage.

Step 4 — Schedule the Kickoff Call (10 minutes)
I send a Calendly link so they can book a time that works for them. No email ping pong. Just one click and we are booked.

Step 5 — Send a Welcome Pack (45 minutes)
A simple document covering how we will work together, response times, revision policies and my contact details. Everything is clear before work begins.

Total time? Under 2 hours.

A smooth onboarding experience tells your client one thing before you even start working together.

You are in good hands.
Are you a business owner who wants this kind of support behind the scenes? Let us connect.

I Went Into Apollo Today With One Goal: Walk Out With Verified Leads.

And that is exactly what happened.

I searched for companies inside Apollo. Filtered by industry. Found the right people decision makers. The people who actually have the power to say yes.

I built a list of 25 leads.

Not random contacts. Not guesswork. Targeted, specific people that matched exactly what I was looking for.

Then I organized everything properly and exported the list cleanly into my spreadsheet.

But here is the part that mattered most.

I did not just want names.

I wanted verified contacts. Accurate information. Real opportunities. Because there is no point reaching out to a list full of dead ends.

So I went through the list carefully. Identified the verified leads and cleaned out the rest.

What I was left with was not just another spreadsheet.

It was a list of real people who could become real clients.

This is what lead generation looks like when it is done with intention and the right tools.

Not rushed. Not random. Precise.

If your business needs qualified leads delivered in a clean, organized system, send me a message. Let’s discuss what I can build for you.

I Was Just Doing an Assignment. Then Google Maps Showed Me Something I Did Not Expect.

I was not trying to discover anything new.
I was just working through an assignment on lead generation.

The task was simple. Search for a type of business on Google Maps and see what comes up.

So I typed "law firms in Lagos, Nigeria."
And I just sat there looking at my screen.
Pages and pages of real law firms. Real names. Real phone numbers. Real websites. Real addresses. Right there in front of me without paying for anything or downloading anything.

I was not even looking for clients in that moment. I was just doing the work.
But something hit me.

This is how you find people. This is how you show up before anyone else does. This is how a VA builds a list without waiting for someone to come to them.

I am still working through it. Still learning. But that one search changed how I see lead generation completely.

Sometimes the assignment teaches you more than you expected.

22/05/2026

How much time did you spend this week just trying to schedule a meeting?

Not the meeting itself. Just the back and forth of finding a time that works. The emails. The "does Tuesday work?" The "actually can we move it to Thursday?" The "what time zone are you in?" thread that somehow takes three days to resolve.

For most coaches and business owners that conversation happens multiple times a week. And every single time it happens it pulls them out of the work that actually matters and drops them into an unnecessary administrative loop.

Calendly eliminates that loop completely.
Instead of going back and forth over email, you send one link. Your client or prospect clicks it, sees your available times, picks one that works for them, and books instantly. No negotiation. No confusion. No thread that goes on forever.

The meeting gets booked. Both parties get a confirmation. Reminders go out automatically. And you never had to lift a finger beyond sharing a single link.

For a coach who is running discovery calls, client sessions, and team check ins every single week, this is not a small thing. This is hours of time given back every month. Hours that go straight back into serving clients, creating content, closing deals, and growing the business.

The best part is that Calendly works quietly in the background. Your clients do not see the mechanics. They just experience a smooth, professional, effortless booking process that makes you look completely on top of things before the conversation even begins.

That first impression matters more than most people realize.
Are you still scheduling meetings manually? Tell me how much time it is actually costing you.
