One of America's youngest voices for change, Mr. Charlie Kirk, has just been ki||ed.
He was only 31.
Charlie wasnβt your regular p0litical activist. He was controversial, unapologetically MAGA to the core, a staunch Christian, openly pro-life, fiercely supportive of Israel, and a huge backer of Donald Trump.
On September 10, he was speaking under a tent at the very first stop of his βAmerican Comeback Tour,β a Turning Point USA event tagged "Prove Me Wrong"
While speaking, a student asked a question about massive shootings in America.
Just after responding to the studentβs question, a single bullet ripped through the air, $triking him in the neck.
The sh0t came from a rooftop not too far away the meeting tent, about 200 yards, according to reports. Moments later, police recovered a high-powered bolt-action rifle in a nearby wooded area.
Yet, despite detaining some persons of interest, the suspect remains unknown. Officials in Utah have already described the attack as nothing less than a political assassination.
And now, America is left to wrestle with the shocking reality β a young, loud, unyielding voice has been silenced.
In almost every society, history has shown that voices of change, voices that refuse to be silenced by the crowd, often end up targeted and eliminated. Charlie Kirk, sadly, just joined that list.
This is one reason a lot of young voices are scared of speaking against the injustices and corruptions in our systems, especially in Africa.
It's so obvious that activists who decide to speak in the interest of society are never safe, even in advanced and developed societies.
This is heartbreaking.
We only hope that the ki||er is found and brought to book.
RIP Mr. Charlie Kirk π―
