ARTIFICIAL INTELLIGENCE has revealed what Stamford Bridge could look like after a stunning redevelopment.

Stamford Bridge was opened, first, in 1877 and has played host to Chelsea since 1905.
But with a capacity of just over 40,000, it trails behind rivals like Arsenal and Tottenham.
And Chelsea owner Todd Boehly is now keen to press ahead with plans for a £1.5billion rebuild.
It’s reckoned the American is leaning towards knocking down Stamford Bridge entirely.

Bournemouth Vs Chelsea: Christopher Nkunku wins it! Substitute's superb late finish and Robert Sanchez's penalty save spare Blues' blushes

Nkunku came off the bench to finish inside the box as the Blues somehow beat the Cherries

Chelsea had to reckon with an energetic Bournemouth side on Saturday night but managed to do so, with some help from goalkeeper Robert Sanchez and substitute Christopher Nkunku.

In the 36th minute, during a half they dominated, Bournemouth got in behind as Evanilson capitalized on a terrible backpass from Wesley Fofana. Sanchez sprinted out and body-checked the summer signing, bringing him down in the area and conceding a penalty, although he stood tall to make a sensational save.

Bournemouth were the better side in the first half but Evanilson could not convert any of his chances, including from 12 yards, and the two sides headed into the interval level.

In the second half, the same pattern resumed and Ryan Christie hit the post just before the hour mark.

But it was Chelsea who found a way to win the game. In the 85th minute, two substitutes combined as Jadon Sancho found Nkunku, who poked home, and somehow earned the Blues all three points. Up Chelsea!!!

Chelsea academy graduate Armando Broja set to become Ipswich’s tenth signing of the summer
And the two clubs have also agreed on a £30million obligation for the 23-cap Albania international should Ipswich avoid relegation to the Championship.

Broja had been expected to depart Stamford Bridge having been deemed as surplus to requirements by new boss Enzo Maresca.

He was one of three players alongside Conor Gallagher and Romelu Lukaku who were left off the matchday programme for Sunday's 2-0 defeat to Manchester City.
The trio have been seeking an exit from west London this summer having been banished from all first-team activities.

For academy graduate Broja, it will be his fourth loan spell away from Chelsea.

He spent the 2020/21 season on loan at Dutch side Vitesse, where he banged in 11 goals in 34 appearances.

Broka followed that up by firing in nine times in 38 matches for Southampton the following campaign.
And having fallen down the pecking order under Mauricio Pochettino last term, he spent the second half of the season at Fulham, though he failed to score from his eight outings.

In total, Broja has found the back of the net just three times for Chelsea from his 38 games in all competitions.

But he will be hoping to hit the ground running at Portman Road, where he will become the Tractor Boys' tenth summer signing.
Ipswich have already done business with Chelsea this window, having brought in winger Omari Hutchinson on a club-record £22.5million move.

Kieran McKenna's side have also nabbed Jacob Greaves from Hull, Liam Delap from City, Sammie Szmodics from Blackburn, Arijanet Muric from Burnley and Conor Townsend from West Brom on permanent deals.

And they also snapped up Ben Johnson on a free transfer following his release at West Ham. That is in addition to the loan arrivals of Kalvin Phillips from the Citizens and Jens Cajuste from Napoli. But their incoming signing in Broja is a major coup for the newly-promoted side.

Broja had been on the radar of AC Milan earlier in the window, with Monaco and Stuttgart also admirers of the youngster.

Chelsea clash with Swiss side Servette at Stamford Bridge on Thursday.

It's the first leg of their UEFA Conference League play-off round, and manager Enzo Maresca will be hopeful of a straightforward victory.

The Blues are overwhelming favourites at 1/10 to secure an advantage heading into next week's second leg in Geneva.

Should Chelsea triumph, they will advance to the new 36-team league stage, where each side faces six different teams and the top eight automatically qualify for the last 16.

Fatigue shouldn't be an issue following Sunday's 2-0 defeat to champions Manchester City given the size of Chelsea's squad.

It looks a good opportunity for the Italian manager, who is already favourite to be the first Premier League manager sacked this season, to get a win under his belt in front of home supporters.

Servette have lost three of their last five in all competitions, and were recently hammered 6-0 by Basel.

Enzo Maresca’s first competitive match managing Chelsea will pit him against Pep Guardiola and his champion Manchester City team. For Maresca, it will be a significant moment. A chance to test himself in a footballing chess-match against the very best.

Maresca may have described another Manchester City boss Manuel Pellegrini as "like a father" to him but it is Guardiola whom he most admires. He still recalls their first conversation when Guardiola was coaching Barcelona and he was a player for Malaga.

The new premier league season is going to kick off this coming weekend with Chelsea taking on Manchester City on sunday, the 18th of August, 2024. Welcome to the new season!!!
