It was such an amazing experience at the Albinism Advocacy Pageant! I had so much fun, met amazing people, and received countless compliments , especially on my hair.
I had the privilege of modeling for , rocking the stunning Lush Kinky Twist. I came in with my hair looking rough, but left with a radiant look that had people complimenting me nonstop. Huge thanks to for this priceless opportunity, and special shout-out to my makeup artist for doing such a fantastic job and making me feel so elegant.
Beyond the beauty and glam, this event carried a deeper meaning for me, it was a celebration of identity, confidence, and strength and It reminded me that advocacy is not just about raising awareness, it’s about living boldly, owning our stories, and inspiring others to embrace theirs. My skin tells a story, and instead of hiding it, I am learning to celebrate it.
The event has inspired me to keep shining, keep speaking, and keep showing up, because representation matters. And while I look forward to other advocacy event, I’m specially anticipating the day there will be an advocacy for vitiligo because I live with it, and I know how powerful it will be to see it represented too.
Every shade is beautiful, every story is powerful, and it deserves to be seen, celebrated, and loved. 🥰🫠💛
