Should Parents Stop Posting Their Children’s Faces Online?
We live in a digital age where babies get Instagram handles before they can even crawl. Cute? Yes. Harmless? Maybe not. Every photo of a child online creates a digital footprint they never consented to. From identity theft to predators, or simply the embarrassment of growing up with their childhood moments forever public, the risks are real.
So here’s the question that could shake every timeline: Do parents have the moral right to broadcast their children’s lives on social media, or should it be considered a form of digital exploitation?
Some argue it’s innocent sharing. Just proud parents capturing memories. Others say it’s unfair, robbing children of privacy they never chose to give up.
In the future, many kids may grow up resenting their parents not for what they did in the home, but for what they posted online.
What do you think? Is this love, or is it selfishness in disguise?
