As we celebrate this festive season, I sincerely urge everyone to exercise restraint and wisdom in all that we do. Let us celebrate with joy, but also with responsibility.
Please guide and caution our children and wards to stay away from knockouts, fireworks, and other dangerous items, in line with the directive of the Nigerian Police. No celebration is worth a life or lifelong injury.
I also encourage us to avoid reckless driving, excessive drinking, and unnecessary arguments that could lead to violence. Let us respect one another, obey the law, and look out for our neighbours, especially the elderly and children.
Remember, peace, love, and safety are the true spirit of the season. Let us end this year alive, healthy, and grateful.
