Celebrating a Life That Gives Voice, Meaning, and Direction
Dear Pst Seyi Bakare
On this special occasion of your birthday, we write to you not just as a department within the church, but as a group of people whose work and identity have been shaped by your influence in ways that continue to unfold.
As the Advocate Media Crew, our assignment is to document, amplify, and communicate what God is doing through this ministry. Yet, in carrying out this responsibility, we have come to realize that what we capture is deeply connected to who you are. Your life, your voice, and your consistency have given us not just content to record, but meaning to communicate.
What you represent has redefined how we see our role.
Through you, we have learned that media is not just about cameras, design, or coverage. It is about stewardship. It is about accuracy, responsibility, and truth. It is about understanding that what we put out is not just information, but influence. Your life has shown us that the message must be lived before it is projected, and that authenticity cannot be edited or manufactured.
Mummy, we observe how intentional you are, not just in preaching, but in how you carry the message. You are thoughtful with your words, deliberate in your actions, and consistent in your values. This has challenged us as a team to move beyond routine work and embrace purpose in what we do. It has taught us to ask not just “Is this done?” but “Is this done well? Does this reflect the message we stand for?”
In moments when it would be easy to reduce our work to tasks and deadlines, your example reminds us that what we do is part of something bigger. That every recording, every design, every publication carries the responsibility of representing truth with clarity and integrity.
Beyond the technical side of our work, your influence has also shaped our mindset. You have shown us that growth requires discipline, that excellence is intentional, and that consistency is what gives credibility to anything we do. These are lessons that go beyond media, they are principles for life.
We also recognize the way you create space for people to grow. You do not just lead from the front; you pay attention to those coming behind. You see potential, you nurture it, and you allow it to develop. As a team, we have felt that. We have experienced what it means to be guided, corrected, and encouraged in a way that builds confidence and capacity.
Mummy, your impact on us is not always loud, but it is deeply rooted. It shows in how we approach our work, how we carry responsibility, and how we understand the importance of doing things with excellence and purpose.
Today, as we celebrate you, we do so with a deep sense of gratitude. Gratitude for your leadership, for your consistency, and for the standard you have set — a standard that continues to guide us even when words are not spoken.
Our prayer for you is that God will continue to strengthen you, enlarge your influence, and reward your labour. That the grace upon your life will increase, and that the impact you are making will continue to extend far beyond what is visible.
As the Advocate Media Crew, we also reaffirm our commitment, to carry the vision with understanding, to represent the message with integrity, and to continue growing in the light of the example you have set.
Happy Birthday, Mummy.
We honour you. We celebrate you. And we remain grateful for the privilege to learn under your covering.
