YESTERDAY IN HISTORY
30th May, 1996: Dr. Paul Idoko Enenche returns from a 3-day fasting and prayer period that led to the call to establish Dunamis International Gospel Centre.
30th May, 2018: Samuel Adegboyega University (now Glorious Vision University) receives her license of operation from the National Universities Commission (NUC). It was founded by The Apostolic Church Nigeria, Lagos, Western and Northern Areas (LAWNA) Territory with two campuses in Ogwa, Edo State and Ketu, Lagos State, Nigeria.
30th May, 1972: Chinese Evangelist, Watchman Nee passes on to glory while in prison. He was arrested in 1952 and sentenced to 15 years imprisonment with reform by labour for the sake of the Gospel. He eventually spent 20 years (5 years more than his maximum sentence). He was aged 69.
30th May, 1933: Reverend Apolo Kivebulaya passes on to glory. He was a Ugandan Anglican Priest and Evangelist. He was referred to as the "Apostle to the Pygmies" for his missionary work among the Bambuti people of the Ituri forest in Eastern Congo. He was also the principal pioneer of the Anglican Church in the Belgian Congo (now Democratic Republic of Congo).
30th May 1974: Rosemary Nomthandazo Odukoya is born. She was the wife of Pastor Taiwo Odukoya of blessed memory, founder of Fountain Of Life Church. She passed on to glory on 9th November 2021.
