This was my very first breast milk after delivery, and it took me about two days before I started lactating properly.

Meanwhile, the advice was coming from everywhere 😂👇🏽
“Drink more water.”
“Take pap.”
“Drink tea.”
“Eat nuts.”
“Take palm wine.” 😂

I honestly wondered if I was the only one struggling.

Then I heard some women start seeing breast milk even before delivery! 😳

So, which category are you?

A. Milk came immediately after delivery
B. It took a few days
C. I was already producing before delivery

The sleepless nights, the constant carrying, the little cries, the clinginess, the messy feeds, the tiny hands holding onto you…

One day, you’ll look back and realize how quickly it all passed.

They won’t stay this little forever. 🥹❤️

So even on the days you’re tired, overwhelmed or wishing for a little break, try to soak it all in.

They grow so fast. And one day, you’ll miss this version of them. 🤍
