Tear Drops - Episode 4
A person who's confident and assured of their self-esteem, don't go around playing mind games for someone to fall in love with them. When you know who you are, you won't see any need to chase someone that doesn't want you; all you would do is let go of any feelings you might have gotten for that person and position yourself for someone that would cherish and love you completely, because there's no greater joy than being with a person that's totally into you, the same way you are into them.
It's apparent that Mandy was indirectly throwing herself at Precious without any iota of shame. She didn't bother to consider her friend 'Barbara' whom she knew was already in love with him.
It's so sad that Mandy couldn't even let this one slide, knowing fully well that this was the first man Barbara was considering a relationship with; after turning down so many guys in the past. So sad!
After Mandy revealed to Precious that she loved praying; hence her reason for wanting them to pray before he left, Precious kept his cool and agreed to engage in the prayer.
"No Mandy, please don't! Let him go because it's already late, we can pray together without him" Barbara chipped in. Mandy smiled and nodded 'Ok' but was feeling bitter within.
"I'll have to leave then, you both should take care and I'll call you later", Precious said and zoomed out.
As Precious walked away, Mandy almost dropped deead because it felt like a part of her was leaving. Barbara confusingly looked at her and looked away shortly because she didn't even know what to say at that moment. After about two minutes of silence, Mandy finally spoke. "Why did you make me look bad in front of your guest? I only asked that we pray; which is a good thing if you ask me. He agreed but you just had to make me look bad by telling him to go" Mandy angrily said.
At that moment, Barbara was confused and didn't even know what she was talking about, neither did she know where her anger was coming from. "What do you mean?" She confusingly asked, "you already know what I mean" Mandy replied and got up to leave.
Barbara laid back on the bed and couldn't utter any word till Mandy left. She kept wondering what the problem was but couldn't find any reasonable answer to the questions in her head. As she lay on her bed thinking, Precious called to check up on her and they got talking.
They talked for a long time and it helped Barbara forget all that Mandy did. Precious was a sweet person and knew how to keep a conversation going. They talked about so many random stuff and ended by saying 'Goodnight' to each other.
When the call ended, something struck Precious heart and it was the gradual realisation that he was beginning to fall slowly for Barbara. Precious kept wondering why he cared so much about her and always wanted to check up on her. "But she seems uninterested in me so I don't know if it's mutual", he thought to himself all night.
While Precious was afraid of the new development of feelings he was having for Barbara, he wasn't aware that she became attracted to him the very first day she set her eyes on him for the property viewing. If only he knew that Barbara fell in love with him a long time ago, then he probably would have hastened his steps to make her his.
That night, Precious thought of several ways to draw Barbara closer to him and finally came up with a good plan. The following day was a busy one for Precious so he didn't have the chance to check up on Barbara till around 5pm.
At that time, Barbara was still at work and was busy as well. She hadn't communicated with Mandy all day and it made her feel bad. Just as Barbara was about to dial Mandy's number, Precious call came in. She smiled faintly and picked up; "Hello dear" she greeted, "How are you doing?" He asked and she told him she was good. "What are you up to?" Precious asked, "Nothing much, I just have so much work to do in a short period" Barbara tiredly replied.
Now, even though Barbara was truly tired, the main reason she was worn out was because of her little misunderstanding with her 'supposed' best friend. The fact that they hadn't spoken to each other all day was eating Barbara up.
The truth of the matter is that Barbara isn't used to anger and hatred, she is just a loving, free-spirited lady. If only she knew how much envy and jealousy Mandy had been bottling up in her heart, she probably would have realised that their little misunderstanding was a blessing in disguise for her to advert the danger that was ahead. Too bad we can't see what the future holds till the event happens!
As Barbara conversed with Precious, he tried to cheer her up and bring her out of the sad mood she was in. "When can I see you again?" He gently asked and Barbara smiled, "when do you want to see me?" She replied and he told her the balls were all in her court. Barbara chuckled and told Precious that she would alert him whenever she was chanced. They said goodbye to each other and ended the call.
Immediately after the call ended, Barbara dialed Mandy's line and she picks after the second attempt. "Hey baby, so you can be angry with me for a whole day without calling, it's not fair oh" Barbara playfully said. Mandy was still upset but felt it was time to let go. They reconciled and talked as though they weren't on good terms a few minutes back. They both apologised to each other and moved on.
Days passed and both Barbara and Precious still haven't had time to see each other. That week was extremely busy for both of them because they had so much engagements from their various occupation. They communicated via phone calls all through but wasn't able to see each other face to face.
Fortunately, a day finally came when they had fewer engagements so they agreed to meet up at Precious's newly purchased house. He invited Barbara over and she was so excited. After the close of work that day, Barbara took an Uber and headed straight to Precious's house.
When she arrived, he was already waiting for her outside. The sight of Precious standing outside wearing a short was beautiful to behold. Barbara was smitten and majestically got down from the car and walked closer to him.
"Barbie Barbie! You look tired but beautiful" he said and she blushed; "thanks for inviting me over" she said, "thanks for coming" he replied.
They walked into the house and entered Precious living room. The first thing Barbara noticed was that his house was partly furnished. "Why haven't you started furnishing? There's still so much to be done" she pointed out and Precious smiled. "To be honest, one of the reasons I invited you over today is because I want to employ you to be my interior decorator" he said.
Barbara was shocked and hadn't felt so wanted and important in her life before. "You want me to decorate and furnish your house for you?" She surprisingly asked and Precious nodded 'yes'. Barbara was dumbfounded and didn't know what else to say; "Thank you so much, I'm honestly flattered. Do you have any idea of what you want?" She curiously asked, "No I don't, I'm trusting you to do a good job so that's why I'm leaving everything entirely to you. I'll be leaving town next week, so come up with the budget you need for the furnishing" He said and Barbara nodded 'yes'.
As they were talking, Precious didn't know if it was the right time to pour out his heart to her. He kept fighting himself within and didn't know what next course of action to take.
Unable to hold his feelings any longer, he put his hand into his pocket and brought out a spare key to his house. He handed the key to Barbara and said; "Take the spare key to my house since I will be traveling soon and you need to work here, but as you receive the key, can you receive my heart too?".
Barbara was numb and kept arguing with herself that Precious might have had a slip of the tongue and probably didn't mean what he said. With her eyes wide open, she asked; "What did you just say to me?",
Precious moved closer to her and said; "I love you Barbara, I feel cold because I have been standing outside your heart, can you please open the door and let me in?

Tear Drops - Episode 5
There's no better feeling in life than being loved back by someone you love. Falling in love isn't easy because the feeling has to be mutual with the other party before there can be a relationship. Barbara was relieved to know that Precious had feelings for her too and took the bold step to confess it. What a beautiful thing love is!
On hearing Precious heartfelt confession, Barbara melted because she felt it was all a dream.
"Why do you love me?" She asked in a low tone, looking into Precious eyes. He walked closer and held her waist; "Honestly, I have been asking myself that question for a while now but don't seem to have any answer. There's just something about you that keeps me coming back. I love your smile, your sense of humor, I love the way you laugh, the way you talk, and your personality. I don't know you too well to give a final verdict on your character but all I can say is that you are someone I feel I can be with. Please let me be your man, friend, and lover; I promise not to make you regret letting me into your heart. I love and want you Barbara" Precious said.
There was love in the air and at that moment, all Barbara's defences were weakened. She couldn't deny the fact that she wanted Precious as well and would give up anything just to have him k!ss her.
Just as she stood there confused and thinking of what next to say, Precious leaned forward and planted a soft k!ss on her lips.
"I love you too" Barbara managed to say after the k!ss. He smiled and k!ssed her again and this time around, it was passionate. They held each other tightly and didn't want to let go of their grip on one another.
As they k!ssed, Precious could tell that Barbara was naive when it came to intimacy. He noticed the way her whole body suddenly became cold and her hands didn't stop shaking. Precious heart was glad at the thought of the good choice he made and it made him fall more in love with her.
It was a beautiful night indeed for the two lovebirds as they were now officially together. They talked a little about their newfound relationship and bonded while at it. Precious handed the spare key to Barbara and she blushed as she yanked it off his hand. "Prepare the budget and get back to me before next week Monday because I'll be traveling on Tuesday", he said and she nodded 'yes'.
That day was one of the best days of Barbara's life as she had never truly experienced what being loved felt like. Precious ordered an Uber for her because it was quite late for him to drive Barbara to her house and also return to his. They sadly said 'Goodnight' to each other as Precious opened the car door for her to enter. Barbara felt like a queen and wasn't ready to trade that feeling for anything in the world.
On the ride home that night, Barbara kept smiling and was feeling overly emotional. Due to excess excitement, she picked up her phone and dialed Mandy's number, to break the good news to her. Immediately Mandy picked up, Barbara screamed in excitement; "Oh my God Mandy! Mandy guess what?" She excitedly said, "What's it again oh" Mandy curiously asked smiling. Never in a thousand years did Mandy ever think that the reason Barbara was happy was because Precious, whom she also had feelings for had asked her out.
Mandy was in for a shocker that was about to bring out the worst in her. "Precious asked me out today and it's not just that, he also gave me a spare key to his house and asked that I take over the furnishing of the entire house. Mandy he even k!ssed me, Oh my! His lips almost took me to an early graave because the sweetness of it was beyond what I could handle. Mandy I'm finally in love and feel like this is the man I want to give my all to; I love him so much and really want this to work. Mandy I'm in love!" Barbara said with tears in her eyes.
The words that came out of Barbara's mouth killed Mandy within; she diied an instant d*ath and rose again. At that moment, Mandy was numb and dumbfounded as she wasn't expecting such a sudden revelation. After about a minute of being completely silent, she finally summoned strength to speak. "I'm happy for you dear", she said in a low tone and Barbara happily thanked her. If only Barbara knew that her heart was about to be shattered beyond repair by the person she trusted dearly and called her friend, then she would have kept her good news to herself.
When the call ended, Mandy threw her phone hard on the bed and screamed. She was feeling different things at once and didn't know which emotion to focus on. There were mixed feelings of pain, jealousy, rage and bitterness. Mandy talked to herself all night and couldn't get her mind off the sad reality that was right in front of her. "No this can't be! But I love him too, why can't I be with him instead? Why do I have to always settle and not have the things I want. I'm sorry Barbara, but I wouldn't settle this time around" she said.
There and then, Mandy started planning on what her next course of action would be. She was highly desperate and was ready to surrender her dignity if it was what it would take for her to have Precious.
While Mandy was planning to destroy the beautiful relationship between Barbara and Precious, the two lovebirds waxed even stronger. Mandy kept trying and suddenly got frustrated when her plans weren't working.
Precious was out of the county for work related purpose, while Barbara spent most of her free time in his house due to the ongoing furnishing project she was handling for him. Having a good heart, Barbara usually invited Mandy over to help with the decorations in the house.
Whenever Mandy was invited, she never hesitated to accept the invitation. Anything that concerned Precious drove her crazy because he was like an addiction to her. Mandy was usually bitter and unhappy whenever she was at Precious house. She diied within each time Precious called Barbara and spent hours on the phone with her. "This is supposed to be me and not her, I ought to be the one furnishing this house and having a spare key" Mandy usually said each time she saw Barbara happily engrossed in her furnishing work.
On the other hand, all this envy and bitterness was still unknown to Barbara. She didn't have any clue that her best friend was seriously unhappy with the beautiful things happening in her life. If only we could read people's minds, then I guess Barbara would have clearly seen the danger ahead of her and stopped bringing her 'supposed' friend into her personal life and relationship. Poor Barbara!
Precious trip was almost due so Barbara spent the night at his place because she still had a lot to do. The interior decorator she hired was doing a good job but Barbara still had to be present to supervise them whenever they were working. Fortunately, the house was done before Precious arrival and Barbara was more than excited to show him the good job she had done.
When Precious arrived at the airport, Barbara was there to pick him up with her company car as she had the car to herself to be able to make an important work run early the next morning. He arrived in the evening so she was closed from work by then and had all the time to spend with her sweetheart.
Immediately Barbara spotted Precious, she ran and jumped on his body. Those watching kept blushing because it was a good sight to behold. Barbara was an overgrown baby and didn't hold back from showing Precious her playful side. "Welcome welcome welcome! I missed you so much" she happily said. Precious smiled and held her firmly from falling off. "I missed you more and don't want to be away from you again", he said.
Because they were in a public place, Barbara had to get down from Precious body and help him with the bag he was holding. They entered the car and Barbara drove down to his place. When they arrived, she gave him a piece of cloth to blindfold his eyes. Precious obediently tied his eyes with the cloth before alighting from the car.
Barbara held him as they walked inside the house just so he doesn't fall. They finally entered inside and she asked if he was ready and he nodded 'yes'. She gently unwrapped the cloth from his eyes and revealed the beautiful new furnishing she had done over the weeks.
On seeing the transformation, Precious was awed and truly impressed by the beautiful work his baby had done. "You are so sweet baby, you are a genius. Thanks a lot for making me unable to recognise my house anymore" he said and Barbara laughed. "Do you like it?" She asked, "Of course I love it" he excitedly replied.
They hugged each other tightly and k!ssed afterwards.
It was time for Barbara to leave but Precious wanted her to stay. She couldn't because she had important work appointments the next day. They sadly bid each other goodbye and parted ways afterward. Precious was genuinely happy that Barbara was his and thanked God for helping him make the right choice.
As these two lovebirds were excited for their newfound love, Mandy on the other hand was thinking of how to ruin everything and eventually make her way into Precious heart. The fact that she had his number and knew where he lived was a deadly advantage to her.
One fateful night, Mandy stopped by at Precious house unannounced. She knew Barbara wasn't there because she called to confirm where she was before making the move. When she got to the estate gate, the security men there already knew her and probably thought she was with Barbara as usual. They let her in without questioning and the Uber she came with headed straight to Precious house.
When Mandy arrived, she knocked on the door as the house didn't have a gate. After several knocks, the door opened and Precious came out wearing his night robe.
One look at Mandy and his heart skipped a beat because he was confused about what she was doing in his house at such an ungodly hour. The worst of it all was the sexually appealing short gown she was wearing. Precious needed God's intervention indeed.
"Hello Mandy, what's going on? Is everything Ok with Barbara?" He confusingly asked and before he knew what was happening, Mandy planted a hot k!ss on his lips.

What do you think about Mendy's move?
Tear Drops - Episode 6
There's nothing hidden that wouldn't be revealed, it's just a matter of time before the truth eventually surfaces. The heart of man is desperately w!cked indeed and Mandy unfortunately did well in proving it right. It's extremely disheartening and heartbreaking that she could stoop so low by going to Precious house unannounced, thereby totally neglecting her friend's feelings. She never for once considered how Barbara would feel if she found out what she was up to; I guess Mandy wasn't thinking things through at all and it's sad that she let her envy get the best of her.
What a best friend indeed!
The k!ss Mandy gave to Precious was unexpected as he didn't see that coming even in a thousand years. Immediately she k!ssed him, he was shocked and furiously pushed her away. "What in God's name is wrong with you? How dare you come to my house and k!ss me, who even told you I live here?" Precious flared up.
At that point, Mandy was scared because it clearly looked like things weren't going in the direction she thought they would. There and then, she broke down and started tearing up bitterly. As tears fell from her eyes, Precious became confused and didn't know what next to do. He stretched his hands and gently touched her shoulders; "I'm sorry if I was a little too harsh on you" he managed to say but Mandy wasn't showing any sign that she was going to stop crying anytime soon.
The atmosphere suddenly became awkward as Precious didn't know exactly how to get out of the situation he unfortunately found himself in.
Unable to stop her from crying, he managed to persuade her to enter his house so the scene wouldn't draw the attention of his neighbours.
It's quite unfortunate that Precious couldn't read through Mandy to figure out what she was up to. At that moment, all he wanted was for her to stop crying because he was quite an emotional person. On the other hand, Mandy was relieved within because it finally seemed like her ill plan was gradually coming to pass.
When they entered inside, Precious made her settle down in his living room and went inside the kitchen to get water for her to drink. Immediately he left, she smiled and hailed herself for a job partly done.
Shortly after, Precious walked back in with a bottle of water and handed it over to Mandy. "Now, can you tell me why you are here?" He asked, "I'm here because I love and want you" she shamelessly said. Precious was extremely shocked because he knew quite alright that Mandy was Barbara's 'supposed' best friend. What a shocker indeed!
"Are you sure you're ok, aren't you Barbara's friend and I presume you know we are dating, how can you come in here to utter such trash?" Precious said. Mandy smiled faintly and looked into his eyes; "You can say whatever you want to say about me but all I know is that I wouldn't hold back my feelings for you. Listen, there's nothing Barbara can give you that I can't equally give to you; matter of fact, I'm even doing you a big favour" she bluntly said.
In everything Mandy said, the only thing that struck Precious was when she mentioned that she was doing him a favour. He kept wondering what she meant by that so he had to interrupt her. "What do you mean by you're doing me a favour?" He curiously asked, "Now that you have asked, I have no choice but to answer. Barbara can't give you the things I can give to you. She's dull, naive and dumb, and believe me when I say you would get bored before you even know it. All the men she has dated in the past ran away from her because of this. I know she's my friend but that doesn't mean I shouldn't tell you the truth. Precious I'm a complete package and believe me when I say you wouldn't regret any decision you take to be with me. I'll leave now, take as much time to think about me and call me when you are ready to be with someone who would bring out the man in you" she said.
As Mandy got up to leave, she placed her hand on Precious manh*od and rubbed it gently. He knocked her hands off but she already knew she had succeeded in messing up his mind.
That evening was a disturbing one indeed for Precious because he couldn't get his mind off his encounter with Mandy. "How on earth did she know my house?" He soberly wondered. Everything Mandy said sank into his head and kept popping up in his mind, no matter how hard he tried to shut it down. She succeeded in greatly messing up his mind and he unfortunately wallowed in thoughts all night.
On the other hand, Mandy felt both scared and excited; she was scared because she feared Precious would tell Barbara all that happened and also felt happy because she felt her plans were gradually coming into play. She crossed her heart that what happened would remain between herself and Precious alone.
The next day, Precious indirectly asked Barbara how Mandy knew where he lived. They were having dinner at his house after a long day at work when he popped the question. "Baby, did your friend come here to work with you while I was away?" He curiously asked, "Yes babe she did, she helped me with the decorations while you were away", Barbara said without suspecting anything. Precious figured out the truth and immediately waived the decision.
As time went on in their relationship, Precious began to realise all that Mandy said to him the day she made the surprise visit to his house. He figured that Barbara was quite naive when it came to lovemak!ng and didn't improve no matter how much he tried to teach her. Despite that, he wasn't bothered much and didn't see it as enough reason to leave a woman he dearly loved.
In as much as Precious was trying to be a real man, he was still human and had his own weaknesses. There were times he wanted to feel like a real man but Barbara wasn't up to the task on such occasions. He learnt to deal with such situations whenever they arose and always tried to look at the better side of his relationship with Barbara. Well, unfortunately not for long!
One fateful day, Precious came back from a trip and called Barbara immediately he landed at the airport and told her to meet up with him for dinner at a popular restaurant they usually hung out in. Unfortunately, Mandy was with Barbara and she insisted on following her for the dinner date. Without informing Precious, Barbara invited her and they zoomed out to the restaurant.
They arrived and sighted Precious sitting handsomely on a seat at the other end of the restaurant. Barbara happily ran and gave him a hug. Immediately Precious set his eyes on Mandy, his heart skipped several beats. He kept wondering why Barbara would bring her there but immediately realised that he never confided in her about what Mandy had done to him a few weeks back.
Mandy figured he was uncomfortable seeing her there and smiled mischievously towards him. "Hi Precious" she greeted, "Hey, how are you doing?" He asked and she said 'fine'. Barbara who was unaware of everything that was going on, sat on Precious laps and wrapped her hands on his neck as she tried to catch up with all that happened while he was away on his business trip.
The food was finally served and everyone ate quietly.
While they ate, Precious had to excuse himself to the restroom and after a few seconds, Mandy also excused herself to go to the restroom.
While in the restroom, Precious faced the mirror and bent his head in deep thought. Just as he was lost in thoughts, a hand held him from behind and when he turned to see who was holding him, it was Mandy!
"Stop this! What is wrong with you? Do you want to ruin my happy relationship with Barbara" He furiously asked but Mandy wasn't even ready to answer his question. She locked the door pushed him on the wall and locked her l!ps with his.
Precious was trying his best not to give in but Mandy was honestly irresistible. She was hot and had a body that could set any man's eyes ablaze. They k!ssed passionately for a while and had to stop because Barbara was waiting for them back at the restaurant. "Here's my house address, come for more if you want" Mandy said as she typed her address on her phone and sent it to him. She hurriedly arranged her clothes and went back to be with Barbara before Precious came afterwards.
They stayed a little longer before leaving the restaurant. Precious dropped the ladies off at Barbara's house before heading to his. On his way to his house, he couldn't get his mind off his affair with Mandy and deeply wanted more.
Halfway into the journey, he turned back the car and gave Mandy a call. "Are you back to your house?" He asked, "Yes I'm home. It's an apartment, so come to the second floor and knock on the door on your left", she said and Precious ended the call afterwards.
In less than 20 minutes, there was a knock on Mandy's door and she smiled and went to open it; Lo and Behold, it was Precious leaning handsomely on her door frame.
She looked into his eyes and said "Hey baby, come to mama!".

Tear Drops - Episode 7
There comes a time in a person's life when they realize that being faithful to one partner is far more fulfilling and satisfying than cheating and having multiple side pieces. At that point in their life, these people begin to see life a whole lot differently than they used to. They realize that there's much more to life than lust, infidelity, and unfaithfulness. Precious was already at a point in his life where he was willing to totally commit his all to Barbara but it's sad that his tempter 'Mandy' was the best friend to his partner, and that made her in close proximity to him.
That night was a day that would determine the fate of Precious and Barbara's relationship and could either make or break them.
It was going to take only the grace of God and a realisation that Barbara didn't deserve to be betrayed and treated that way, in order for Precious to come back to his senses and turn his back on the temptation standing right in front of him.
As the door opened and Mandy saw Precious, she already concluded in her mind that he was already hers and there was no turning back. She had already started devouring him in her mind and couldn't wait to physically tear him apart.
On seeing Mandy, Precious eyes were red because she was putting on a cloth that left nothing to the imagination. Her dress was extremely sexually appealing and he had already stripped it off in his head
"Come here baby, you made the right choice, now watch me give you the night of your life and definitely something Barbara has never given to you", Mandy said and gently held his tie and dragged him closer to her.
At that moment, the atmosphere was charged and Precious was turned on. He held Mandy's hips and lifted her up. She smiled when he jacked her and notified him to lock the door.
They k!ssed passionately and Precious carried her to the living room. He was about to take her clothes off but suddenly stopped when she said "Yes baby! Take it off, Barbara doesn't deserve you, I do".
Those words from Mandy pierced Precious heart and his eyes fortunately opened to the intensity of what he was about to do. It dawned on him there and then that he rather didn't deserve a loving, faithful, and loyal lady like Barbara.
"I can't do this", Precious said out of nowhere and Mandy was shocked. "You can't do what? No no baby, please don't say this now, I love you so much" she said and f*rcefully tried to take off his cl*thes but he stopped her from going further. "What on earth am I doing? Barbara doesn't deserve this from us, I feel like a loser and a clown right now. What in God's name came over me?" He soberly said.
On seeing that Precious was back to his senses and wasn't on the same page anymore, great fear overshadowed Mandy and her heart raced as though her life depended on every beat. Before she knew what was happening, Precious got up, picked up his car key, and headed for the door. It was there and then that it dawned on Mandy that Precious was done with their affair.
As Precious headed for the door, Mandy hurriedly followed him begging but he was filled with so much guilt at that moment and didn't have any spare attention to give to her. She tried to hold his shirt but he knocked her hands off at every attempt. "Leave me alone!" He yelled as he walked towards his car.
Mandy's world seemed as though it had come to an early end and her dead conscious eventually started coming alive. She began to see things from Precious perspective in the sense that Barbara loved them dearly and didn't deserve the way she was betrayed.
In no time, Precious got to his car, entered it, and zoomed out. While on his way home, his conscience started pricking him, and his peace of mind was snatched away from him. Mandy kept calling his phone but he wasn't picking up and even ended up blocking her number there and then. When she realized that he had blocked her, it made the whole situation worse for her and she started praying that Precious wouldn't confess all that happened to Barbara.
After several attempts of trying to reach Precious but his line wasn't going through, Mandy called Barbara to see if he had told her anything. It was quite late but Barbara picked up because her 'supposed' best friend was calling her. "Hey baby girl, what's up?" Barbara greeted when she picked, "Hi girl, how are you?" Mandy inquired, "I'm good dear, are you home yet?" Barbara asked and she said 'Yes'.
Mandy told her that she just wanted to check up on her and ended the call afterward. Actually, the truth of the matter is that she called Barbara just to indirectly find out if Precious had told her the whole truth. The fact that Barbara sounded cool, relieved her a little from the great fear she had within.
On the other hand, Precious couldn't hold his guilty conscience and started tearing up. He felt extremely bad for disrespecting Barbara in such a way and didn't think he could hide the truth from her anymore. It dawned on Precious that it was best for him to come clean and tell Barbara the whole truth before Mandy twist it and sell a false story to her.
All Precious knew at that point was that he couldn't and didn't want to lose Barbara. He finally realized that a relationship is far more than just lo******ng; it's friendship and also being able to find happiness in someone. A relationship needs more than just a bang!ng body, hot shape, and good bed sk!lls in order to work. Having those things aren't bad but it's a misconception to think that that's the major things you need to acquire in order to hold someone down.
That night wasn't the best of nights for Precious as he wallowed in guilt and kept thinking about all that happened earlier at Mandy's house. After going back and forth on how to tell Barbara the truth, he finally made up his mind to come clean no matter how scared he was, as regards the chances of his relationship survival afterward. But he felt it was better to build the foundation of his relationship with honesty than with lies, secrets, and deceit.
Unfortunately, Precious wasn't able to see Barbara the next day because she had to travel out of town for work purposes. His mind hung up all through her absence because he kept thinking anything could happen anytime. Due to guilty conscience, he called her severally while she was away. He didn't want to have the talk with her on the phone but rather face to face.
While Precious was greatly disturbed about the future of his relationship, Mandy kept trying to access him but couldn't. She tried every means possible and even resorted to visiting his house but still wasn't able to access him. She felt guilty about the fact that she betrayed her friend 'Barbara' but it wasn't as much as how sad she felt for losing Precious. I wonder how you can lose someone or something that was never yours in the first place. All fingers were crossed and they took each day as it came while wallowing in guilt.
Three days later, Barbara returned from her trip and went straight to Precious house because she missed him dearly. Precious was aware that she was going to make her first stop at his house, so he started preparing for the truth reveal. He prayed within and asked God to give Barbara an understanding and forgiving heart.
At around 7pm, Barbara arrived and the first thing she did when she set her eyes on Precious, was to give him a warm hug. "I missed you so much baby", she said and buried her nose inside his clothes to smell his sweet scent.
While Barbara was busy feeling his body, Precious was dying slowly within and couldn't hold back anymore.
"Baby, can we talk?" He asked, "Can't it wait, I miss you and want to just be with you" she said but Precious told her it couldn't wait.
They sat down on the couch and he looked into her eyes and said; "Baby please promise to be understanding and not leave me after hearing what I have to say?" He soberly said and Barbara suddenly realized that there was fire on the mountain. "What's it? You are making me scared now" she inquired and Precious began to talk. He narrated everything that happened and didn't leave any single stone unturned. By the time he was done talking, tears were already flowing uncontrollably from Barbara's eyes.
Just one look at Barbara's face and Precious couldn't see how completely shattered and shocked she was. He tried to clean the tears in her eyes but she shifted her body in resistance.
The atmosphere was silent for over ten minutes with no one talking. Precious was dying slowly because he didn't have any clue what was going on in her mind. She kept staring at him without uttering any word and after being silent for a long time, she finally spoke. "Did you sleep with her?" Barbara asked with tears in her eyes, "Baby everything I told you is the whole truth, I didn't sleep with her because I came back to my senses that night before we got far" he soberly said.
Barbara broke down in tears as she couldn't believe what was happening. Precious got up from his seat and went closer to her, just as he was about to touch her, his doorbell rang. "Baby please hold on, let me see who's at the door", he said and went to see who was knocking. As the door opened, Precious almost dropped dead when he saw who was standing in front of him.
With his eyes wide open, he screamed, "Oh No! Mandy you can't be here".

Tear Drops - Episode 8
The beautiful thing about love is that you can't force or manipulate it, no matter how hard you try. I guess God made it that way so that our feelings would always be genuine without people's interference. If only people could manipulate love, then I presume Mandy would have succeeded in winning Precious over considering the amount of effort she put into trying to get him. Well, as a popular saying goes 'nine days for the thief and one day for the owner'.
Mandy was about to meet her doom and eventually confront her supposed best friend whom she betrayed out of envy. The atmosphere was about to explode and Mandy didn't seem ready for what was about to hit her.
When Precious saw Mandy standing in front of his door, his heart dropped because he knew what was going to happen if Barbara caught a glimpse of her. Unfortunately, Mandy wasn't even aware that Barbara was inside the house, she also didn't know that Precious had just revealed all that happened to her. What a tragedy indeed!
"I said you can't be here, just leave now!" Precious repeated when he figured Mandy wasn't taking him seriously. "I just want us to talk, I'm not here for what you think", Mandy said but Precious wasn't interested in what she had to say, all he wanted was for her to leave before Barbara find out that she was there.
While Precious kept resisting, Mandy became impatient and forcefully made her way into the house. As she walked into the living room, her heart almost left her body when she saw Barbara sitting right in front of where she stood, still crying.
Immediately Mandy saw Barbara, she wished the ground could open and swallow her. Never in a thousand years did she believe that she would be caught in such a manner.
The situation was beyond Precious as at then, so he decided to just hands up and let whatever was going to happen have its way. Matter of fact, he was quite relieved that Mandy was there so that the truth would surface without seeming like he was making up the whole story just to destroy their friendship. It was Barbara's moment so he wasn't planning on interfering unless he was called upon.
"So it's true? So this is what I get for loving and trusting you with all my heart?" Barbara said with tears falling uncontrollably from her eyes. Mandy was dumbfounded and didn't know what to say or how to begin answering Barbara's questions. The atmosphere was silent but Barbara wasn't ready to let it remain that way. "Mandy I asked you a question, what did I do to deserve this from you? Why Precious of all men? You know how long it took me to finally find someone my heart beats for, why did you decide that it was him or no one else? How do you even sleep at night knowing that you were making s*xual advances towards my man? How do you sleep at night with such evil, bitterness, and envy piled up in your heart for a person who did nothing wrong but loves you? How can you smile with me when you knew quite alright that you wanted what was mine and even went as far as lying to Precious about me, saying that a lot of men left me because of my poor s*xual performance. Were you not the same person I confided in by telling you how naive I was when it came to lovemak!ng and how I wasn't able to learn much because I had dated just one person in the past. How was I able to get dumped by men because of poor s*xual performance, when I had only dated one guy in the past? Why did you go to such an extent just to take Precious away from me? You are evil and I can't even look at you at this moment, you both should enjoy your lives and leave me alone" Barbara said and walked out on them still crying.
Immediately Barbara left, Precious rushed after her and tried to stop her from going but she was too hurt to care about any other person but herself. "Baby please I'm sorry, don't leave me I beg, I wouldn't let you go babe, please", he said as he held her hands but all Barbara wanted at that moment was to get away from them.
"Just leave me alone, my heart can't bear this magnitude of betrayal from two people I love and care so much about. If you claim to love me, why didn't you say something since the first day it happened? It's clear you secretly wanted it and that's why you let things get to the level where she can just visit your house uninvited. To be honest, I don't trust you anymore; I don't think I can trust a man who couldn't tell me the truth from the onset. Precious just leave me alone, I don't deserve all this" Barbara said and walked outside his building.
Despite the fact that Barbara was angry, Precious wasn't ready to let her go that night. It would only take rapture to occur for him to let go of her. "Babe you aren't going anywhere, I would never let you go. I know I was wrong for not telling you from the onset, but my reason for doing so was that I was confused and initially thought it was all a big joke, till when she approached me at the restaurant restroom. Babe please don't punish me for something I didn't do, I beg you! Do whatever you want to do to me but please don't leave me because I don't think I would be sane without you in my life. I'm sorry, please forgive me" Precious sadly said, with tears clouding his eyes.
As all these were going on outside, Mandy stepped out from the door, looking sober and shattered. It was apparent that her conscience was dealing with her and she was overshadowed by guilt. Immediately Mandy came out, she walked close to get to Barbara but she screamed and told her to stay away and not get one bit closer.
Precious didn't want a scene so he hurriedly went back inside, grabbed his house and car keys. He locked the house door and begged Barbara to get into the car. After several pleading, Barbara eventually got in and they zoomed out, leaving Mandy behind.
When they left, Mandy almost collapsed because she felt like a loser and a failure. Not only did she not succeed in getting Precious, but she had also lost a dear friend. It was at that moment that it dawned on her what she had done. Regrets started springing from all angles and she shamefully walked down to the estate gate and headed home.
On the other hand, Barbara kept crying and didn't seem as though she was going to stop anytime soon. Precious drove the car to a quiet location and packed there. He remained mute as he watched her cry bitterly. Every tear that dropped from her eyes pierced his heart and it almost drove him crazy.
After about 20 minutes of watching Barbara cry, Precious finally summoned the courage to speak. "Barbara you are killing me slowly and I hate myself for being the reason for these tears in your eyes. I wouldn't remain the same again if you left me. I'm so sorry for not telling you earlier, please find a place in your heart to forgive me. Baby please!" He sadly said.
Barbara still loved him dearly and wasn't ready to lose her man just because of what her desperate friend did. To be honest, she was a bit proud of him deep down. The reason she was hurt was due to the fact that it was Mandy of all people who betrayed her.
The thought of her man having slight intimate contact with her best friend was painful indeed.
Barbara didn't utter a word to Precious and just told him to take her home. After several failed attempts to change her mind, he drove her home and sadly bid 'Goodbye'. All through that night, none of the three of them slept well. They all cried and wallowed in thoughts all night without any clue of what the future held for each of them.
Days passed and Precious was gradually making his way back into Barbara's heart. At that time, she wasn't talking to Mandy and had cut all ties with her. Precious was still not getting all of Barbara like he used to but he didn't give up on their love. She mostly didn't want to see him but he was always present at her house every night begging.
The heart can't lie as Barbara knew she still loved Precious and didn't want to lose him either. They were gradually working on their relationship and Precious was willing to put in all the work if it came to that.
While these two love birds were busy working on their relationship, Mandy was battling depression and didn't have anyone to check up or care for her. After trying to access Barbara but all efforts proved abortive, she decided to pay her a visit one evening.
At around 8pm, Mandy arrived at her house and knocked on the door. While she waited for Barbara to open, her heart skipped several beats and she started praying for God to touch her heart to forgive and forget.
After the third knock, the door opened and Mandy looked into Barbara's eyes with tears falling from hers; "Barbie, I'm so sorry, it's the devil's work. Find a place in your heart to forgive me" she sadly said
Barbara looked at her and asked; "if the truth hadn't surfaced, would you have felt sorry for me? Would you have left my man and would you have realized that you were betraying our friendship?".
Mandy nodded 'No' and Barbara said "Exactly what I thought, I would never forgive you"

Tear Drops - Episode 9
To err is human but to forgive is divine. Forgiveness mostly favors the giver than the receiver because when you refuse to forgive someone who hurt you, they hold and retain a certain amount of power over you. Whatever takes less of your attention has less effect on your feelings so the best way to completely move on from a hurtful experience is to forgive and let go; but that doesn't necessarily mean the person has to be close to you again as they used to.
Looking at things, Barbara didn't seem ready to forgive Mandy, talk more of forgetting what she did to her. To Barbara, Mandy was a closed chapter in her life that she didn't want to reopen.
To be completely honest, Barbara still felt hurt due to the betrayal she got from her best friend, and hated her the more for letting herself become a tool in the hands of the devil.
Barbara wasn't ready to forgive a backstabber, liar and betrayer; she was ok being without any friends and just wanted to concentrate on her relationship.
On hearing that there was no room for forgiveness, Mandy dropped a few tears and kept begging Barbara to let go. While she was still pleading, Barbara banged the door and shut it; leaving Mandy outside. It was then that it dawned on her that Barbara was honestly done with their friendship.
After waiting for a few more minutes, she sadly walked away and went back home.
Back inside, Barbara lay on her bed and started tearing up again. This time, she was crying because it all still felt like a dream to her that a friendship of over six years was ruined, and didn't feel the same anymore. The honest truth of the matter is that it would be almost impossible for things to ever go back to normal again.
Like I always say, trust is very fragile and once broken, can hardly ever go back to normal. It took them six years to build a beautiful friendship but only took a few actions to ruin it all. It's sad that people don't think their actions through before engaging in it, but rather just go with the flow of their emotions and feelings.
A lot of things go wrong when people aren't able to be in charge of their feelings and emotions. Being a slave to your feelings would always leave you miserable, that's why it's advisable to think things through before acting. If only Mandy thought things through, she would have realised the consequences of her actions if caught. So sad she didn't!
On the other hand, Precious was careful not to interfere in the ongoing quarrel between his partner and Mandy; in fact, he never mentioned Mandy's name ever and only focused on working things with Barbara.
A month after the incident, Precious decided to take Barbara on a weekend getaway to a beautiful quiet resort. She initially turned down the offer but later agreed when she realised that she also needed the getaway.
They arrived in the evening and were checked into their room. Barbara took her shower and went outside to receive some fresh air, while Precious was busy with an important business phone call. Barbara strolled to the beach and sat at the shore. She fell into deep thoughts and totally forgot herself.
After over 30 minutes of being lost in thoughts, Barbara was brought back to life when Precious k!ssed her neck from behind. She smiled because she knew it was him. "Why are you out here alone?" He asked, "Because you were busy answering a phone call when we are supposed to be away from all that" she replied.
Precious suddenly realised that he wasn't supposed to attend to any work issues while on a trip, so he immediately apologised. "I'm sorry baby, now come inside it's getting cold out here", he said and jacked her up from the ground. Barbara started blushing and wrapped her arms around his neck while he carried her inside. Their room wasn't too far from the beach so they got there in no time.
When they got into the room, Precious gently laid Barbara on the bed and wanted to stand up when she held his shirt and pulled him back to the bed. Precious smiled because he knew what she wanted but wasn't sure it was the right thing to do; not after the Mandy saga. Ever since the incident with Mandy, Precious hadn't touched Barbara. He was scared because she had become insecure, due to what Mandy said about her s*xual performance.
As they both lay on the bed k!ssing, Barbara reached for Precious clothes to take them off but he stopped her. "Baby let's not go further, I don't want you to awaken any memories", he said but Barbara didn't say a word in response and continued k!ssing him.
They k!ssed for a while before Precious finally got turned on. The atmosphere got charged up and he was ready to devour Barbara. He reached for her neck and l!cked it down to her ears. Barbara reciprocated his actions back to him and unbuttoned his sh!rt while at it.
Deep down in Precious mind, he was a bit impressed that Barbara was gradually picking up and wasn't dull anymore. Out of excitement, he said; "Babe you don't have to try too hard oh, I love you still", but Barbara still ignored him till she was done unbuttoning his sh!rt. The first place her lips went to was his n*pples...
At that moment, Precious was already on cloud nine and didn't want to come down. Barbara was bursting his brain with that single action. He m*aned in pleasure and his eyes turned red; ready to devour her. Before she could s*ck further, Precious took charge and dominated the game.
It was Barbara's turn to beg for mercy because Precious was on cloud nine already and wanted every bit of her b*dy.
They made l*ve that night like never before and forgot every problems they were having in their relationship due to Mandy. The bed sheets were soaked with sweat even though there was an air-condition in the room. Precious exhausted everything in him on Barbara and she did the same to him too. They bonded more and cuddled each other afterward.
Unknowingly to Barbara, Precious had a big surprise up his sleeves and was just waiting for the right time to take action. He wanted to take their relationship to the next level and make it official to avoid losing her.
Precious purchased an engagement ring and brought it with him on the trip; in fact, the main reason he brought her there was because he wanted to pop the big question.
The next day after eating breakfast together, Precious asked Barbara to follow him for a walk to the beach. They strolled down and came to a beautifully decorated place for two. Precious secretly arranged for that place to be set up for his proposal.
Barbara was still unaware of what was going on. When they entered that spot, Precious knelt down and brought out the ring from his pocket. That sight alone was enough to land Barbara in a coma. She was extremely shocked and held her chest in the process.
"What's going on babe?" Barbara surprisingly asked, "I want you to be my wife and the mother of my unborn children, would you marry me?.
With tears falling from Barbara's eyes, she gently said; "Yes baby I'll marry you, I love you so much".

It's so refreshing to see how beautiful things turned out for Precious and Barbara, What a relief!
The proposal marked a new beginning in the lives of the two lovebirds and their little weekend getaway eventually turned out to be an engagement celebration. Barbara was extremely emotional and found it hard to believe that she was engaged to the man she loved dearly and didn't want to lose. Her heart was gladdened with joy and she teared up whenever her emotions overflowed. They didn't want to inform anyone about the engagement yet because they needed some time only to absorb this new phase of their lives.
Unfortunately, the weekend was over so they had to return back home. As they packed on Sunday evening, Barbara was all smiles and couldn't stop staring at her ring. Precious chuckled and shook his head when he caught her smiling and staring at her ring.
"Babe you have looked at that ring like 5 times now" he jokingly said, "Yes! And this is just the beginning" Barbara replied smiling.
After packing, they checked out and headed home afterward. They arrived quite late and had to spend the night together at Precious house. Barbara had work the next day and left for her house very early in the morning to go change.
During the day, Precious called his parents and close friends to Inform them that he was now engaged to Barbara. Everyone was extremely happy for him and applauded him for taking the bold step to make it official. On the other hand, Barbara wore her ring to work and everyone noticed the big shiny rock on her middle finger. "Barbie what's going on, are you engaged?" Everyone kept asking and she told them 'Yes'.
Congratulations kept pouring in from every angle of the office and Barbara blushed as she thanked everyone. Later in the day, she informed her parents and siblings about the latest development in her life and everyone was overly happy for her.
As the day went by, Barbara suddenly became sad when she thought of how Mandy would have treated the engagement. She missed their friendship greatly and kept wondering why Mandy would ruin what they had as friends. Barbara was sad but had to let go of the sad memories and move on. Precious was now her best friend and he called every now and then to check up on her.
Days passed and Mandy was still unaware of Barbara's engagement. She wallowed in guilt and was greatly disturbed because Barbara still haven't forgiven her. Mandy tried every way she knew to reach her friend but couldn't get to her because Barbara had blocked her line. After several failed attempts, she decided to pay Barbara another visit, since the incident was two months past.
One fateful evening, Mandy paid Barbara a visit and kept praying that things would be different this time around. After several knocks, Barbara opened the door to the sight of Mandy crying. Her heart suddenly melted as she saw her best friend in tears; a lady she used to love and could do anything for. So sad!
"What are you doing here? Thought I told you to leave me alone" Barbara said, "I'm so sorry, please forgive me, Barbara. I h*te myself every day for what I did to you; I was selfish and wasn't thinking about how my actions would make you feel. I guess I was jealous because you always get lucky with men, unlike me. I felt bad because life seemed to be more fair to you than it did to me. It took this to happen for me to realise that you can't force love or take what isn't yours. I was impatient and tired of waiting for my own man to come, that's why I wanted the fast way out by taking Precious. I'm so sorry Barbara, please forgive me because I'm dying slowly due to a guilty conscience. Your forgiveness is all I need" Mandy said.
When Mandy was done talking, tears started falling from Barbara's eyes. She stretched her hands to wipe the tears and Mandy immediately spotted the ring. "Oh my God! Are you engaged?" She excitedly asked and Barbara nodded 'Yes' with tears in her eyes. Mandy teared up too and wrapped her arms around Barbara.
They hugged each other as they cried. "Are you happy for me?" Barbara soberly asked, "More than anything in the whole world, I love you so much and wish you all the best baby" Mandy replied sobbing. They hugged each other again and Barbara laid her head on Mandy's shoulder.
"I forgive you but we can't be close anymore. I love you and will always be here whenever you need anything. Goodbye Mandy" Barbara said and removed her head off her shoulder.
Mandy smiled and told her it was all good and that she mostly wanted forgiveness. They sadly bid each other 'Goodbye' before parting ways.
When Mandy left, Barbara dropped a few more tears before entering inside, same with Mandy but she was at peace this time around knowing that she was now forgiven.
As time went on, both ladies moved on with life and occupied themselves with other important things that mattered more to them. Even though they greatly missed each other, they realised that it was best for things to remain the way it was.
Barbara wasn't in need of any close friend again, as Precious was now her everything. They did everything together and were always with each other when they weren't occupied with other things like work. Barbara and Mandy talked once in a while but didn't talk about each other's personal life. They always talked about random stuff and kept boundaries.
Mandy rendered some helpful tips to Barbara for the wedding preparations and it helped greatly. Life became extremely beautiful and peaceful as everyone deliberately left the past in the past, but that doesn't mean they didn't learn their lessons.
