✨ Blessed as Sons, Not Beggars ✨

The story of the prodigal son (Luke 15:11–32) shows us that God blesses His children not just because of needs, but because of covenant sonship.

The prodigal came back for food (need), but the father gave him restoration as a son — robe, ring, shoes, and a feast.

The elder son thought blessings were rewards for service, but the father said: “Son, thou art ever with me, and all that I have is thine.”

In Christ, we are heirs of Abraham’s covenant (Galatians 3:29).

👉 You are not a beggar at God’s table.
👉 You are a beloved covenant child.
👉 God’s blessings flow because of your identity as His child, not just your needs.

Romans 8:15 — “Ye have received the Spirit of adoption, whereby we cry, Abba, Father.”

Topic: Jesus – The Prince of Peace

Textual Source: Isaiah 9:6 – “...and His name shall be called Wonderful, Counsellor, The mighty God, The everlasting Father, The Prince of Peace.”

Message:

Jesus Christ is not just a historical figure or a religious leader — He is the Prince of Peace, the One sent by God to bring healing to every part of our lives. His peace isn’t temporary or dependent on circumstances; it is deep, lasting, and transformative.

What does this mean for you today?

Peace with God: Through Jesus, we are no longer separated from God. “Therefore, being justified by faith, we have peace with God through our Lord Jesus Christ.” (Romans 5:1)

Peace in your heart: In anxiety, fear, or loss, His peace is your anchor. “Peace I leave with you, My peace I give to you… Let not your heart be troubled.” (John 14:27)

Peace in relationships: His love teaches us to forgive and reconcile. “Blessed are the peacemakers, for they shall be called the children of God.” (Matthew 5:9)

Peace for the future: Even in a troubled world, He promises eternal peace in His kingdom. “Of the increase of His government and peace there shall be no end...” (Isaiah 9:7)

Let the Prince of Peace reign in your heart today. Turn to Him. Trust Him. Let His peace change your life from the inside out.

Prayer:
Lord Jesus, Prince of Peace, come into our hearts and calm every storm within us. Let Your peace reign in our thoughts, our homes, and our communities. Teach us to carry Your peace to others and live as Your children. Amen.

“The Spirit of the Lord is upon me… to preach the gospel to the poor… to heal the brokenhearted… to set at liberty them that are bruised… This day is this scripture fulfilled in your ears.”

Message:

Jesus declared His mission clearly—He came to bring good news, healing, freedom, and restoration. This message is not just for the people in the synagogue 2,000 years ago, but for you today.

Are you carrying burdens, wounds, or spiritual blindness? Jesus came for you. His mission is still active, and His Spirit is still at work.

He heals hearts broken by loss, delivers those trapped by fear or sin, opens eyes blinded by lies, and lifts up those crushed by life’s weight. This is not just history—it is your reality if you will believe.

Application to Every Reader:

If you feel broken, come to Jesus—He heals.

If you feel bound, trust Him—He sets free.

If you feel forgotten, know this—He came for you.
Let His Word be fulfilled in your life today.
