Stop adding FOR after ORDER.

I ORDERED FOR rice. ❌
I ORDERED rice. βœ…

I ORDERED FOR chicken and ice cream. ❌
I ORDERED chicken and ice cream. βœ…

I ORDERED FOR De-NasJ skincare products. ❌
I ORDERED De-NasJ skincare products. βœ…

You ORDERED FOR four pairs of shoes. ❌
You ORDERED four pairs of shoes. βœ…

You only use FOR when you are placing an order on behalf of another person:

I ordered rice for you. βœ…
He ordered chicken for us. βœ…
You ordered four pairs of shoes for Ruth. βœ…

When you say, 'I ordered for rice,' it implies that you performed an action on behalf of the rice, rather than placing an order to receive it.

The Golden Rule: Never use FOR immediately after the word ORDER when referring to the item you are purchasing.

If you learned something new today, mention or forward this to anyone who will find it helpful.
