Brazil fans will have to wait a little longer.

Reports indicate that Neymar will miss Brazil's upcoming FIFA World Cup 2026 match against Haiti as the coaching staff refuse to take any risks with their superstar.

To be honest, I think this is the right decision.

Neymar only returned to full training 24 hours ago. At this stage of the tournament, rushing him back could create a much bigger problem. Brazil know they will need him later when the pressure is highest.

What interests me most is the message coming from the Brazil camp.

They are not talking about setbacks. They are not talking about complications. They are talking about building Neymar toward his best physical condition. That suggests confidence that his return is getting closer.

Brazil also have enough quality to cope without him for now.

Even without Neymar, this squad is packed with attacking talent capable of beating anyone on their day. The challenge is making sure they do not become too dependent on him once he returns.

But let us be honest.

The entire football world wants to see Neymar back on the pitch. Whether you support Brazil or not, he remains one of the most entertaining players of his generation.

The good news is that this does not sound like a long-term absence.

It sounds like Brazil are simply protecting one of their biggest weapons for the battles ahead.

For now, the message is simple.

Neymar is not ready yet. But Neymar is coming.

Do you think Brazil can win the World Cup without Neymar in the starting lineup, or do they need him to lift the trophy?

Let me know in the comments.

Canada just sent one of the strongest messages of the FIFA World Cup 2026.

A 6-0 win over Qatar is impressive on its own. But what really stood out was Jonathan David's incredible hat-trick performance.

David looked unstoppable from the first whistle. Every time he got near the penalty area, Qatar's defence looked nervous. His movement was sharp, his finishing was ruthless, and he reminded everyone why he is one of the most dangerous forwards in international football.

What impressed me most was Canada's intensity.

Even after taking control of the match, they kept attacking. They did not sit back. They did not slow down. They kept pushing forward and Qatar simply could not cope.

This result also changes the picture in Group B.

Canada now have a huge goal difference advantage and look increasingly likely to reach the knockout stages. If they continue playing with this level of confidence, they could become one of the tournament's dark horses.

But amid all the celebrations, there was one heartbreaking moment.

Ismael Kone suffered a serious injury and had to leave the match. Football rivalries disappear when moments like this happen. Every football fan will be hoping for positive news and a full recovery.

Tonight belonged to Jonathan David.

A World Cup hat-trick is something very few players ever achieve. He delivered when his country needed him and announced himself to the entire tournament.

The question now is simple.

Can Jonathan David lead Canada on a historic World Cup run, or was this just the beginning?

Thoughts and prayers with Ismael Kone.

BREAKING NEWS
Liverpool have just made a massive statement.

Reports claim the Reds submitted a โ‚ฌ100 million offer for Yan Diomandรฉ, but RB Leipzig rejected it immediately.

Think about that for a second.

Most clubs would accept a nine-figure bid without hesitation. Leipzig did not. That tells me exactly how highly they rate the 21-year-old Ivorian star.

What makes this story even more interesting is that Leipzig are reportedly demanding closer to โ‚ฌ120 million before they even consider a sale.

That is elite superstar money.

Liverpool clearly see Diomandรฉ as a player capable of transforming their attack for the next decade. You do not bid โ‚ฌ100 million for potential alone. You bid that kind of money when you believe you are signing a future Ballon d'Or contender.

But Liverpool are not alone.

Paris Saint-Germain remain in the race, and whenever PSG enter a transfer battle, things can get very expensive very quickly.

The biggest question now is whether Liverpool will return with an improved offer.

Personally, I think they should.

Diomandรฉ has the pace, power, technical quality, and versatility that modern elite football demands. Players with that profile are extremely rare, and when they become available, the biggest clubs move fast.

At the same time, Leipzig are under no pressure to sell. They know his value could rise even further if he continues developing at his current rate.

This transfer saga is far from over.

Liverpool have made the first major move. Leipzig have responded with a clear message. Pay more or walk away.

Now the ball is in Liverpool's court.

My question is simple.

If Yan Diomandรฉ leaves RB Leipzig this summer, which club is the perfect destination for him: Liverpool, PSG, Real Madrid, Arsenal, or another European giant?

Let me know in the comments.

Real Madrid are not finished yet.

Just when many fans thought the summer rebuild was slowing down, fresh reports suggest Florentino Perez is preparing even more signings and more departures as Los Blancos continue reshaping the squad.

Dani Ceballos is expected to leave, but what catches my attention is that he may not be the only exit. Real Madrid appear ready to make difficult decisions before the transfer window closes.

The biggest story for me is the midfield.

Reports indicate that signing a new midfielder has become a priority. Interestingly, despite constant speculation, there are currently no club-to-club negotiations for Enzo Fernandez. He remains one of several names being evaluated rather than a deal that is close to completion.

What this tells me is that Real Madrid are being extremely careful.

They do not want to spend huge money on the wrong player. They want the next midfielder to fit alongside Jude Bellingham, Federico Valverde, Aurelien Tchouameni, Eduardo Camavinga, and Arda Guler for years to come.

The defensive targets are equally fascinating.

Marc Cucurella would provide competition and flexibility on the left side. Denzel Dumfries would bring power, pace, and attacking threat from full-back. Ibrahima Konate would add elite physicality and experience to the heart of the defence.

Then there is Bernardo Silva.

If Real Madrid somehow pull that deal off, they would be adding one of the most intelligent and technically gifted midfielders in world football. His versatility alone could transform the squad.

But here is what nobody is talking about.

Real Madrid rarely move without a long-term plan. When Florentino Perez starts making multiple moves in one window, it usually means the club is preparing for the next era, not just the next season.

The scary part for the rest of Europe is that Real Madrid already have one of the strongest squads in football.

If they add another top midfielder and strengthen the defence, they could become even harder to stop in the Champions League.

My question for Madrid fans is simple.

If you could choose only one signing from this shortlist, who would you pick and why?

EXCLUSSIVE ; Arsenal have officially stepped up their pursuit of one of England's brightest young talents.

According to reports, Arsenal submitted an official bid to Leicester City today for 16-year-old winger Jeremy Monga, with negotiations now moving quickly and growing optimism that the deal can be completed.

What catches my attention is how highly Arsenal rate this kid.

Monga is regarded as one of the most exciting young attacking prospects in English football. At just 16 years old, he has already attracted interest from several top clubs, but Arsenal appear determined to win the race.

I also think this move tells us something important about Arsenal's transfer strategy.

The club is not only looking at immediate first-team additions. They are also planning for the future. Arsenal want elite young talent before their value explodes, and Monga fits that profile perfectly.

At the same time, Arsenal continue to explore other attacking options. Reports suggest Christos Tzolis remains on the radar, while Morgan Rogers is still the dream target for Mikel Arteta and the club hierarchy.

That is where things get really interesting.

Morgan Rogers is coming off a breakthrough season and has developed into one of the most exciting attacking players in the Premier League. Arsenal believe he could add power, creativity, and versatility to an already dangerous attack.

For now, Jeremy Monga appears to be the deal moving fastest.

If Arsenal complete this signing, they could be securing one of England's next superstar wingers before the rest of Europe catches up.

The question is this.

Should Arsenal focus on signing young talents like Jeremy Monga, or should the club spend big on proven stars like Morgan Rogers right now?

Let me know your thoughts, Gooners.

DR Congo 1 Portugal 1

I honestly think this was one of the biggest surprises of the FIFA World Cup 2026 so far.

Most people expected Portugal to win comfortably. Instead, DR Congo walked away with a historic result that nobody can ignore.

Portugal started perfectly. Just six minutes into the match, Joao Neves headed home from a Pedro Neto cross to give the Europeans an early lead. At that point, it looked like Portugal would take control and cruise to victory.

But here is the first big takeaway.

I think Portugal became too comfortable after scoring. They dominated possession but created very few clear chances. For a team packed with stars, that is a worrying sign. World Cups punish teams that waste opportunities, and Portugal learned that lesson the hard way.

The second takeaway is all about DR Congo's mentality.

I watched a team that never panicked. They absorbed pressure, stayed organised, and waited for their moment. Then, just before halftime, Yoane Wissa rose highest to score DR Congo's first ever World Cup goal and level the match at 1-1. That goal changed everything.

The third takeaway has to be Cristiano Ronaldo.

At 41 years old, Ronaldo became one of the oldest players ever to start a World Cup match and appeared in a record sixth World Cup tournament. That is historic. But if we are being honest, he struggled to influence the game the way Portugal needed him to. The bigger question now is whether Portugal are relying too heavily on their legendary captain.

The fourth takeaway is tactical discipline.

I thought DR Congo's coach Sebastien Desabre got his game plan exactly right. His team defended in numbers, stayed compact, and hit Portugal on the counterattack whenever opportunities appeared. Portugal had more of the ball, but DR Congo looked far more comfortable with their strategy.

The fifth takeaway is the significance of this result.

This was DR Congo's first World Cup point ever. Think about that. They waited 52 years to return to the tournament and then earned a result against one of the favourites. That is not just a draw. That is history.

When I look at the bigger picture, I see a Portugal team with serious questions to answer and a DR Congo side that suddenly believes anything is possible.

Portugal still have the quality to reach the knockout stages. I do not doubt that. But if they play like this against stronger opponents, they could be in trouble.

As for DR Congo, they have already shown the world that they are not in this tournament just to make up the numbers.

My question for you is simple.

Was this result more about Portugal underperforming, or was it about DR Congo proving they belong on the World Cup stage?

Let us talk about Declan Rice because his performance against Croatia deserves far more attention than it is getting.

While Harry Kane scored the goals and Jude Bellingham produced the highlight moment, I thought Declan Rice was one of England's most important players on the pitch.

Football fans often notice the goals and assists first. What Rice did was different. He controlled the game.

From the opening minutes, Rice protected England's defence, broke up Croatian attacks, and kept England moving forward. Every time Croatia looked ready to launch a dangerous counterattack, Rice was usually there to stop it.

What impressed me most was his positioning.

He constantly placed himself in the right areas to receive the ball under pressure and help England play through Croatia's midfield. That allowed players like Bellingham and Madueke to operate higher up the pitch where they could do real damage.

There was also a maturity to his game that stood out.

When Croatia equalised and the match became chaotic, Rice never panicked. He kept the ball moving, slowed the game down when necessary, and helped England regain control. Those moments rarely make the headlines, but they often decide matches at World Cups.

I also noticed how vocal he was throughout the game. He was constantly communicating with teammates, organising the midfield, and helping maintain England's shape.

This is why many managers consider him one of the best defensive midfielders in world football.

He may not have scored. He may not have produced the match-winning highlight. But England do not dominate midfield without Declan Rice.

For me, this performance was another reminder that Rice is becoming one of England's most reliable tournament players.

The bigger question is this.

Is Declan Rice now the most important player in England's midfield, even ahead of Jude Bellingham?

Harry Kane reminded the world exactly why he remains one of the most dangerous strikers in football.

In England's 4-2 victory over Croatia at the FIFA World Cup 2026, Kane delivered a captain's performance. He scored twice, led the line brilliantly, and constantly caused problems for the Croatian defence.

What impressed me most was not just the goals. It was his overall influence on the game.

His first goal came from the penalty spot after England won a crucial penalty. The pressure was enormous, but Kane stayed calm and converted. That is what elite players do in big tournaments.

His second goal showed another side of his game. He found space inside the box, timed his movement perfectly, and finished with the composure that has defined his career.

But here is what many fans might overlook.

Kane was not just a goalscorer. He dropped deep to link play, helped England progress the ball through midfield, and created space for players like Jude Bellingham and Noni Madueke to attack. Several of England's best moves started with Kane's intelligent positioning.

At 32 years old, Kane may not be the fastest striker in the tournament, but his football intelligence remains world class. He reads the game a few seconds ahead of everyone else.

This performance also moved him one step closer to cementing his legacy as England's greatest ever tournament player. When England needed leadership, Kane delivered. When they needed goals, Kane delivered. When Croatia threatened to swing the match in their favour, Kane delivered again.

For me, this was more than a two-goal performance.

It was a reminder that England's hopes of winning the World Cup still revolve around Harry Kane.

The question now is simple.

Can Harry Kane carry this form through the knockout stages and finally lead England to World Cup glory?

England 4 Croatia 2

What a way for England to start their FIFA World Cup 2026 campaign.

I watched every minute of this game and the scoreline does not even tell the full story. This match was pure chaos from start to finish.

Harry Kane opened the scoring from a retaken penalty after Noni Madueke was brought down in the box. Croatia responded through Martin Baturina with a stunning long range strike. Kane then put England back in front with his second goal of the night, but Petar Musa hit back again before half time to make it 2-2.

The biggest takeaway for me was Jude Bellingham. Just one minute into the second half, he produced a brilliant solo goal that completely changed the match. When England needed a leader, Bellingham stepped up and delivered.

The second takeaway was England's attacking depth. Thomas Tuchel started Noni Madueke ahead of Bukayo Saka and later introduced Marcus Rashford from the bench. Rashford rewarded that decision with England's fourth goal in the 85th minute. Few teams in this tournament can bring that level of quality off the bench.

The third takeaway was Croatia's resilience. Twice they came from behind against one of the tournament favourites. Luka Modric, making his fifth World Cup appearance and his 199th international cap, once again showed why he remains one of football's great competitors.

The fourth takeaway was the impact of the new FIFA hydration breaks. Fans from both sides loudly booed the stoppages, arguing that they disrupted the flow of the game. It is a new tournament rule and it is already creating controversy.

The fifth takeaway is simple. England look like serious contenders. Kane scored twice. Bellingham dominated the biggest moments. Rashford finished the job. When your stars perform and your squad players deliver, that is usually the sign of a team capable of going deep in a World Cup.

This was also a statement win against a Croatia side that famously knocked England out of the 2018 World Cup semi final. England got their revenge years ago at Euro 2020, but this victory sends a message to the rest of Group L and the entire tournament.

My question for football fans is this.

After watching Kane, Bellingham and this England attack, do you believe England can finally win the World Cup in 2026?
