I posted few days ago about how some players lost or almost lost their place in their national team as a result of what's happening around Manchester United in recent years. I saw many comments referencing players like Bruno, Dalot who keeps playing for their countries.
What you guys don't know is, players fate in their respective clubs and countries are never the same.
Some players need to be at their best in the club assignment before they can get involved with the national team. Of which, some don't even need to stress. They only need to be fit.
During Gareth Southgate's time as England Boss, Harry Maguire didn't need to play for Man United, he will be invited for games. He was even invited to tournament while not 100% fit. The same fate Luke Shaw enjoyed back then. Right now, he is yet to feature for Thomas Tuchel.
Some still get invited for games in the National team based on the manager having fate in them or the country don't just have many options.
With United's performances in recent years, it is obvious that some players were really affected in their national team.
Players like Garnacho, who was just trying to cement his place in the Argentina team has not been called for the last 6 games.
He made his debut for Chelsea as a a 79 minute sub in Chelsea 2:2 draw away to Brentford. Hopefully he gets more minutes of action and activates his scoring boot. I won't be surprised though.
