OLUWASEUN OLUWOLE PROFILE

Oluwaseun Oluwole Owoseeni is a Broadcast journalist whose passion for the journalism profession has made him resolute and strong-willed even in the face of the obvious and palpable ordeal in the profession.

Born in Akure,Akure south Local government over three decades ago, Oluwaseun had his elementary education at Aunty T**i Nursery and primary school ,Akure and his secondary education at Messiah High school ,later moved to Oyemekun grammar school where he sat for his senior School Certificate Examination.

In his quest for university education, Oluwaseun applied to study English education at the Obafemi Awolowo University,OAU in ile ife which has its center at Adeyemi College of Education, Ondo in 2008 and got the required score in the post UTME examination.

While in School, Oluwaseun developed keen interest in journalism,which made him join the school radio named Arbico FM.

In his third year in the university,he became the head of the school radio station.

During his one year compulsory service to his father land,he joined the orientation Broadcasting service where he handled some programs.

Oluwaseun professionally got exposed to journalism when he had a stint with the Ogun state Broadcasting Corporation OGBC where he was rigorously put through the rudiments of journalism.

Oluwaseun left the services of the corporation in 2018 and joined the Òndó state Radio vision Corporation where he worked as a newscaster,presenter,editor and producer.

He later joined Yemi Sonde media group ,owners of 101.7yes FM ibadan where he was the head of news and current affairs department and anchored the station's political programs such as politics now and the big deal until he resigned in December 2024.

As a journalist, He covered and reported several governorship elections held in Nigeria.

Oluwaseun has experience spanning through over 2 decades.

Yejide Gbenga-Ogundare is a seasoned and award winning journalist of over two decades, with an experience spanning broadcast, public relations and print media.

She has won many hats in her professional career over the years.

Her journey in the media industry begun in the programmes department of the Broadcasting Corporation of Oyo State (BCOS), from where she moved to Diamond Communications, after which she joined Millionaire Magazine before moving to Tribune Newspapers, where she honed her skills across various desks; to both in Lagos and Ibadan, culminating in her positions as Women Editor and Assistant Judiciary Editor.

She is an enthusiastic, self-motivated and dynamic team player, who is proactive and adept at using her initiative and creativity under pressure.

She is not just a journalist, she is also a passionate women and girl child advocate as well as a member of the Oyo State Sexual and Gender Based Violence Response Team (Oyo SGBVRT)

She is a seasoned public relations officer and an administrator whose contributions as a media personality has earned her awards and recognition across many fields.
