This is an appeal to the Oyo State Government and relevant authorities to urgently intervene in the deplorable condition of the road linking Ibadan to Abeokuta, particularly around Tipper Garage, Ayilara, Lade and Bako in Ido LGA.

Residents say the road has deteriorated so badly that they have had to use stones to fill some sections as a temporary measure. Following heavy rainfall, however, the road becomes extremely difficult to navigate, affecting motorists, commuters and residents who depend on it daily.

We appeal to the Oyo State Government and the Federal Roads Maintenance Agency to urgently address the situation and facilitate the rehabilitation of this important road.

Our people deserve better roads. Please, let something be done before the situation gets worse.
