Tragedy struck in Zamfara State as Zarah Abubakar Shehu, a 21-year-old student of the Federal University Gusau, died in captivity four months after she was abducted alongside her two siblings.

Zarah, a 300-level student, was taken from her home in the Damba area of Gusau in the early hours of Sunday, Nov. 3, 2024, by armed bandits. The kidnappers initially demanded ₦35 million for their release, but after negotiations, they agreed to accept ₦10 million.

However, after receiving the ransom, the abductors refused to release Zarah, demanding four motorcycles (Boza) and four cartons of engine oil before setting them free.

After months of efforts to meet the demands, the items were finally secured. When the kidnappers’ leader was informed, he contacted his men, who then revealed that Zarah had already died and was buried two days earlier.

The deceased, the only daughter of her mother, had spent four months in captivity before her untimely death

35k each for a 13 seater bus from Lagos to Enugu... That's a whooping 455k ... Let's assume he will buy fuel 120k(because it's v6 engine), use 30k as other expenses... So he's making over 300k in one journey? Yes I know he will change oil and buy tyres and do mechanic works, but not in one trip... Na we dey do ourselves for this country!!! This is total wickedness and everybody is comfortable with it... Some bus na 45k or more even.. Nawaooo!!!

SAD! THE LITTLE GIRL PAID THE PRICE OF HER PARENTS SEPARATION
Jenifer was only 8, her mom & dad were no longer together. Her dad got himself a new wife without; consulting or even informing Jeni's mom & this pushed her to leave. Jeni on the other hand, Was so attached & fun of her dad, she loved him so much & refused to follow her mother...
Unfortunately he wasn't home to protect her. Jeni was sent out of the house at midnight by her stepmom after being given str"o-kes of cane. Her cr!me was; she had earlier dished out some food to eat when the step mom wasn't around, after being starved all day for not finishing her house chores ontime the previous day. Her dad had traveled for business. When people found little Jeni in the morning she was breathless.
Sadly, neighbors revealed that they & even the little girl had always complained to her father several times concerning her step mom's mean attitude towards her whenever he isn't around. But he always finds it hard to believe hence, ignoring all the allegations since, the step mom is always acting nice in his presence or When he is home
Till date, Only God knows what happened that night that took away the l"!fe of this beautiful & innocent little girl. Nobody knows what happened to little Jeni. We only know that; she's gone & resting in peace.
