‎DAY 3 HIGHLIGHT : TALITHACUMI LIGHT THE FIRE GOSPEL CRUSADE

‎A Personal and Inspired Summary of Pastor Gideon S. Ilufoye’s Final-Day Sermon
‎The final day of the Talithacumi Light The Fire Gospel Crusade was nothing short of a divine visitation. Under a charged atmosphere of worship, expectation, and spiritual hunger, Pastor Gideon S. Ilufoye mounted the altar with a message titled:
‎“Look Always Away From the World.”
‎With prophetic depth and fatherly compassion, he brought the church into a deeper understanding of four major spiritual pillars every believer must watch closely; The Distraction of the World, The Demand of Faith, The Danger of Double Vision, and The Delight of Fixing on Christ.
‎Throughout the ministration, he admonished, encouraged, and exhorted the congregation with clarity, insight, and the urgency of Heaven. He Admonished the Church About the Distraction of the World With a trembling voice of spiritual burden, Pastor Gideon warned that we live in a world overflowing with noise, pressures, and temptations designed to quietly pull believers away from God.
‎He reminded the church of Colossians 3:2:“Set your affection on things above, not on things on the earth.” He explained that distractions are one of Satan’s subtle weapons stealing prayer fire, weakening hunger for God, and disturbing spiritual focus. He admonished every believer to guard their heart jealously and remain unmoved by the world’s systems. He Encouraged the People on the Demand of Faith With a heart full of compassion, Pastor Gideon reminded the congregation that faith is the currency of the supernatural. He quoted Hebrews 11:6:“But without faith it is impossible to please Him…” He encouraged the people that faith is not a feeling it is obedience; it is trust beyond circumstances; it is action in the face of impossibility.
‎He urged everyone to hold tightly to God’s promises, believing that what God has spoken will surely come to pass. He Exhorted the Church to Avoid the Danger of Double Vision With great urgency, he warned against the silent spiritual killer called double vision a divided focus and divided loyalty. He declared James 1:8:
‎“A double minded man is unstable in all his ways.” He exhorted the people to choose Christ wholeheartedly, explaining that no destiny can advance when the eyes look in two different directions.
‎He called the church to unwavering devotion, reminding them that divided attention leads to confusion, frustration, and delayed fulfillment of purpose. He Encouraged the Believers to Delight in Fixing Their Eyes on Christ As the message progressed, Pastor Gideon led the church back to the joy, peace, and satisfaction found in fixing our gaze on Jesus. He quoted Hebrews 12:2:
‎“Looking unto Jesus, the Author and Finisher of our faith…” He explained that what we choose to focus on will eventually shape who we become.
‎He encouraged the people to cultivate the daily delight of focusing on Christ because in His presence there is clarity, direction, strength, and unending joy.
‎ NIGHT SUMMARY
‎The final night was crowned with a mighty move of God:
‎A strong admonition against worldly distractions (1 John 2:15)
‎A fresh call to live by faith and not by sight (2 Corinthians 5:7)
‎A deep exhortation to reject divided loyalty (Matthew 6:24)
‎A joyful call to fix our eyes on Christ (Psalm 16:8).
‎This was followed by intense prayers, healing, deliverance, and undeniable testimonies.
‎Many lives were healed, restored, and set free from long-standing bo***ges.
‎It was truly a night of revival, restoration, and realignment. With tears of joy and hearts burning with fresh fire, the 2025 Talithacumi Light The Fire Gospel Crusade came to a glorious end.

‎Talithacumi Light The Fire Gospel Crusade – Day Two Message
‎
‎Theme: The Serpent on the Pole
‎
‎Preached by Pastor Gideon S. Ilufoye
‎
‎The second day of the Talithacumi Light The Fire Gospel Crusade was a night of divine illumination, deep revelation, and mighty deliverance. According to Pastor Gideon S. Ilufoye, man’s greatest problem has never been the absence of God’s power but the rejection of God’s simple way of salvation.
‎
‎Reading from Numbers 21:8–9, John 3:14–15, and 1 Corinthians 1:27, he explained that when the Israelites murmured against God and were bitten by fiery serpents, God gave them a strange yet simple solution through Moses:
‎ “Make thee a fiery serpent and set it upon a pole; and it shall come to pass that everyone that is bitten, when he looketh upon it, shall live.” According to Pastor Gideon, the command was simple “Look and live” but many refused to look because it appeared too easy, too ordinary, too foolish. He said, “God’s salvation has always been simple, but man’s pride has always made it difficult.”
‎ Pastor Gideon likened the serpent on the pole to the Lord Jesus Christ, who was lifted up on the cross for the salvation of mankind.
‎Quoting John 3:14–15, he declared:
‎ “As Moses lifted up the serpent in the wilderness, even so must the Son of Man be lifted up that whoever believes in Him should not perish but have eternal life.”
‎He explained that the same way the bitten Israelites were healed when they looked in faith, today anyone who looks to Jesus in faith will be saved.
‎He said, “It is not by effort, not by works, not by religion but by looking to Jesus.”
‎
‎According to Pastor Gideon, the same kinds of people who refused to look at the serpent in the wilderness are still present today. He outlined five categories of people who rejected God’s simple solution then and still reject Christ now.
‎
‎1. The Pharisees and Sadducees – The Religious Proud
‎They trusted in traditions and self-righteousness.
‎Quoting John 7:48, he said, “They had religion without relationship, holiness without humility, and law without love.”
‎ 2. The Lawyers – The Intellectual Proud
‎Experts in the law but ignorant of the truth.
‎From Luke 11:52, he declared, “Many today are full of head knowledge but empty of heart revelation.”
‎ 3. The Rich – The Self-Sufficient
‎Referring to Mark 10:25, he said, “It is not riches that condemn a man, but trusting in riches instead of Christ.”
‎4. The Idol Worshipers – The Spiritually Blind
‎Quoting 1 Thessalonians 1:9, he said, “You cannot look at Jesus and still bow to idols. When you truly see Him, idols lose their power.”
‎ 5. The Doubters and Skeptics – The Spiritually Confused
‎From John 20:25, he said, “Many, like Thomas, want to see before they believe. But faith is believing before seeing.”
‎Pastor Gideon emphasized that all these groups have one thing in common:
‎They rejected the simplicity of God’s salvation because of pride, unbelief, or misplaced trust.
‎He declared: “God still uses what looks foolish to man to display His greatest wisdom.” 1 Corinthians 1:27
‎
‎According to Pastor Gideon, salvation does not come by human effort, works, or religion but through simple faith in Jesus Christ.
‎He added, “It is not by doing but by believing, not by working but by trusting, not by effort but by grace.”
‎After the first session, Pastor Gideon moved straight into the second session a powerful deliverance and healing service. The atmosphere was charged with the presence of the Holy Spirit.
‎Many were set free from the bo***ges of Satan, diverse healings took place, and the power of God was mightily revealed.
‎
‎It was indeed a glorious night of salvation, healing, and restoration.
‎
‎As the second day came to an end, Brethren ,“Tomorrow is the last day! Don’t come alone invite someone, and let’s experience the fullness of God’s power together.”

‎Tonight’s Message Day 1 of Talithacumi Light the Fire Crusade 2025
‎Ministering: Pastor Gideon S. Ilufoye

‎Tonight, under a mighty move of the Holy Spirit, Pastor Gideon S. Ilufoye delivered a powerful message titled “The Devil Uses Pleasure to Deliver Sin.”
‎
‎Pastor Gideon said, “The devil is too wise to present sin in its true form; he packages it inside pleasure. What looks sweet to the eyes can be poison to the soul.” He reminded the congregation that from the very beginning, the serpent deceived Eve by making sin look desirable “When the woman saw that the tree was pleasant to the eyes, she took and ate, not knowing that behind that pleasure was death” (Genesis 3:6). He continued, “The devil hides destruction inside attraction and disobedience inside delight. Even a deadly bit of sin, no matter how small, can destroy a great destiny.” Quoting Hebrews 11:25, he said, “Moses chose to suffer affliction with the people of God rather than enjoy the pleasures of sin for a season.” Pastor Gideon declared, “Sin’s pleasure is temporary, but its pain is eternal. The devil wants you to enjoy the bait and ignore the hook but God calls you to see beyond pleasure and choose obedience.” He concluded, “True joy is not found in pleasure but in purity. The devil uses pleasure to deliver sin, but God uses obedience to deliver life.”
‎After the message, souls were saved and many surrendered their lives to Christ. Pastor Gideon moved straight into the healing and deliverance session, where the power of God flowed mightily many were healed, burdens were lifted, and destinies were restored. It was indeed a night of divine encounter, transformation, and restoration.

Beloved in Christ,
With great joy and gratitude to God, I’m pleased to announce that in less than 24 hours, the long-awaited 2025 Talithacumi Light the Fire Crusade will begin!

We have prayed, fasted, and travailed before the Lord, and we are confident that He who promised is faithful (Hebrews 10:23). This crusade shall be a divine encounter where God will do wonders in our midst, and the name of Jesus Christ will be glorified!

All our equipment is already at the crusade ground, and security personnel are on duty watching over them. We give glory to God for journey mercies our brethren from Ondo State have also arrived safely in Ibadan.

By 7:00 AM tomorrow, work will begin earnestly on the field as we set the stage for a mighty move of God. The Media Department (NGSEM MEDIA) will keep you updated daily.

Glory be to God! Just one more day to the long-awaited Talithacumi Light the Fire Crusade 2025! Our hearts are burning with holy expectation for Jesus shall be glorified!
Beloved, this is not just another event; it is a divine encounter destined to ignite revival fire across our land. Heaven is ready to visit His people once again. Every preparation, every prayer, and every sacrifice has been leading to this sacred moment when God will move in power!
The Scripture declares:
> “For I will pour water upon him that is thirsty, and floods upon the dry ground: I will pour My Spirit upon thy seed, and My blessing upon thine offspring.” Isaiah 44:3
We believe that the same Jesus who spoke “Talitha Cumi” (Mark 5:41) meaning “Damsel, arise!” will raise the dead dreams, revive cold hearts, and restore lost destinies during this crusade. Chains will break, altars will fall, and the glory of God will fill the atmosphere.

Now is the time to stand firm in faith. Let every intercessor keep the prayer fire burning. Let every minister and worker prepare with purity and passion. Let every heart cry out in one voice “Lord, let Your glory fall!”

By the special grace of God, the long-awaited Talithacumi Light the Fire Crusade 2025 begins in just a few hours! Today marks the final day of our rally, and our team is fully prepared to move all the crusade equipment to Ajara Community High School, the chosen venue. By God’s grace, everything will be in place within the next 48 hours.

Our prayer team has been interceding fervently, trusting God for mighty manifestations — salvation of souls, healing of every disease, deliverance from demonic bo***ge, and revival of hearts. We believe that the blind will see, the lame will walk, and captives will be set free in the name of Jesus! 🙌
