‎Topic: THEIR TIME?
‎Text📖: John Chapter 7
‎
‎Memory Verse: John.7.6
‎Then Jesus said to them, "My time has not yet come, but your time is always ready. (NKJV)
‎
‎Times and seasons are highly crucial in determining the choices and journeys of every man. Whoever fails to know his times and seasons has already failed in life!
‎Jesus, while on earth showed a good understanding of times and seasons of his life. He would not be allowed to be pushed by anybody to do what He had not got a ripe signal in term of time from His Father.
‎It was time for the Jewish Feast of Tabernacle and Jesus' siblings taunted Him to go to the feast to show people, especially His disciples His power. Jesus would not be forward in attending the feast for the Jews were already plotting to kill Him. Also, He was not ready to yield to the voice of any man to prove any point to anybody for His Father's will was His will and not the will of any man.
‎A discreet man He was. Jesus would not be found throwing Himself around for His power neither would He release Himself to those that sought after His life because He knew that His time had not come.
‎He surpassed all men in wisdom and power. The officers sent by the Pharisees and chief priests could not arrest Jesus but came back home with the testimony:
‎"No one ever spoke the way this man does," the guards declared. (John.7:46

Psalm 9:1-2 (NIV) reads:
‎
‎"I will give thanks to you, Lord, with all my heart;
‎I will tell of all your wonderful deeds.
‎I will be glad and rejoice in you;
‎I will sing the praises of your name, O Most High."
‎
‎This psalm, attributed to David, is a personal declaration of gratitude and worship toward God. The opening verses emphasize a wholehearted devotion to praising God, reflecting an attitude of complete thankfulness. David acknowledges God's "wonderful deeds," which likely encompass His acts of deliverance, justice, and protection.
‎
‎The psalmist also shifts from merely recounting God's works to an emotional response—joy and gladness—rooted in a deep relationship with God. Singing praises becomes a natural outflow of this joy, suggesting that worship is not just intellectual acknowledgment but also an expression of the heart and spirit.
‎
‎The text invites us to consider how our own gratitude and joy in God's faithfulness can lead us to both private and public expressions of praise. It challenges us to make praise a central part of our lives, as an acknowledgment of who God is and what He has done for us.
