With deep sorrow, we announce the passing of Hafiza Bahijja Adam, who returned to her Lord after a brief illness.

The late Hafiza Bahijja was a devoted student of the Glorious Qur'an, striving to live by its teachings and embodying its values throughout her life. Her passing is a great loss to her family, friends, and the Muslim Ummah.

Janazah (funeral) prayer and burial will take place today at 10:00 a.m. at the residence of the late son of Bala, Likoro, Samaru, Zaria.

We pray that Allah (SWT) forgives her shortcomings, accepts her righteous deeds, expands her grave with light, and grants her the highest ranks of Al-Jannah Al-Firdaus. May He also grant her family and loved ones the strength and patience to bear this great loss.

Indeed, to Allah we belong, and indeed to Him we shall return.

It will be a great blessing and a valuable opportunity if our respected Sheikh could organize a Ta'aleem (lesson) on the book Rūḥ al-Adab authored by Sheikh Ibrahim Niyas.

Such a lesson would enable us to benefit directly from the wisdom, knowledge, and moral guidance contained in this remarkable work. May Allah reward everyone who strives to spread beneficial knowledge and make it a source of guidance for the Ummah.

May Allah preserve our scholars, increase them in knowledge and sincerity, and grant us the ability to learn, understand, and practice what we study. Āmīn.

NIGERIAN MILITARY ARREST 6 DANGEROUS CHRISTIAN TERRORISTS AND ARMS SUPPLIERS TO BANDITS FROM JOS; RECOVER 7 GUNS.

Troops of Sector 7 of Operation Enduring Peace have intercepted six suspected terrorists' logistics suppliers travelling in a Jos-Minna bound vehicle, recovering seven fi****ms and arresting all the suspects during a stop-and-search operation in Kaduna State.

The suspects were intercepted at the Samaru checkpoint in Zonkwa District of Zangon Kataf Local Government Area at about 9:40 a.m. on Monday 13th July 2026.

A statement by the Media Information Officer of Operation Enduring Peace, Captain Chinonso Polycarp Oteh, made available to newsmen in Jos, said the operation was part of the ongoing offensive aimed at disrupting criminal activities and denying terrorists freedom of action within the Joint Operations Area.

According to the statement, the suspects were travelling in an ash-coloured Mercedes-Benz with registration number EDO GUE-722-LV from Jos, Plateau State, to Minna, Niger State, when troops intercepted and searched the vehicle.

Captain Oteh said the suspects confessed they were travelling from Jos to Niger State.

He said items recovered from the vehicle included three AK-47 rifles, four sub-machine guns and the Mercedes-Benz used for the trip.

The military spokesman further disclosed that one of the suspects attempted to flee during the operation but was immediately subdued.
He said the suspect sustained injuries, is in stable condition and is cooperating with investigators.

Captain Oteh added that the arrested suspects and the recovered exhibits are currently in military custody for detailed interrogation and further intelligence exploitation.

But will they face justice or like in many previous cases be freed on "bail" while the case drags for years in court?

💔 A Great Light Has Gone Out in Igbo Land

Indeed, we belong to Allah, and indeed, to Him we shall return. (Qur'an 2:156)

The Muslim Ummah has been struck by the heartbreaking news of the passing of Alhaji Abdulazeez Chibuzo Udeh—a renowned businessman, respected philanthropist, and one of the greatest champions of Islam in Igbo Land.

His death is not only a loss to his family but also to the entire Muslim community across Nigeria, especially in Imo State and throughout Igbo Land, where he dedicated his life, wealth, and influence to the service of Allah.

Alhaji Abdulazeez Chibuzo Udeh was widely known for financing Da'wah activities, supporting the construction and development of Muslim communities, assisting Islamic organizations, caring for orphans and the less privileged, and standing firmly behind every genuine effort to promote Islam.

His generosity knew no boundaries, his humility inspired many, and his love for Islam touched countless lives. He demonstrated that true wealth is measured not by what a person possesses, but by how much they sacrifice in the path of Allah.

Although he has departed from this world, the impact of his good deeds, charitable works, and support for Islam will, by the will of Allah, continue to benefit generations yet unborn. His legacy remains a powerful reminder that sincere service to Allah never dies.

We ask Allah (SWT), the Most Merciful, to forgive all his shortcomings, shower him with His infinite mercy, expand and illuminate his grave, accept all his righteous deeds, and admit him into the highest ranks of Al-Jannatul Firdaus without reckoning.

May Allah grant patience and comfort to his family, friends, and the entire Muslim Ummah during this difficult time.
