QUARTERLY CONSTITUENCY MEETING

Representation must not end at the ballot box.

If elected, QS Aminu Abubakar Suleiman, FNIQS, will institute quarterly constituency meetings across Kogi East to regularly engage the people, listen to their concerns, give account of his stewardship and collectively discuss the development priorities of the district.

The people will not only elect their senator; they will have a seat at the table.

Some connections are not created for elections. They are built over a lifetime.
QS Aminu Abubakar Suleiman, FNIQS, is not a stranger coming home to ask for your vote. He is one of our own.
His father is from Idah, his mother from Igala-Mela, and despite growing up outside Kogi because of his father’s career, QS and his siblings never lost touch with home.
He is the son of “Baba Police” of Abókó-Ocheje, Igecheba Ward, Idah LGA.
But beyond his roots, QS is someone who believes in people. He respects our faith, traditions and different ways of life. He believes leadership should unite, empower and give everyone room to thrive.
For Kogi East, this is bigger than politics.
It is about identity without exclusion, tradition without intolerance, faith without coercion, and progress without losing our roots.
From Idah to Igala-Mela, Ankpa to Dekina, Ofu to Olamaboro, Ibaji and beyond, the message is simple:
Let’s choose competence. Let’s choose inclusion. Let’s choose purposeful representation.

As we step into August, I pray that God grants every family in Kogi East and beyond good health, divine protection, open doors, and abundant blessings. May this month bring renewed hope, fresh opportunities, and the courage to pursue our dreams with confidence.

Our journey toward a more prosperous, united, and developed Kogi East continues. Together, with faith, integrity, and a shared commitment to the common good, we will make the future brighter for our people.

One of the greatest investments we can make in our future is creating opportunities for our young people to secure meaningful employment.

For too long, many qualified graduates from Kogi East have remained unemployed, not because they lack competence, but because they lack access to opportunities and effective representation. A senator should not only make laws; he should also build strategic relationships, engage relevant institutions and consistently advocate for the interests of his constituents within the limits of the office.

I believe Kogi East deserves a representative who can leverage professional networks, institutional relationships and constructive engagement to ensure that our qualified sons and daughters are aware of and positioned to compete for federal employment opportunities.

I speak from experience. Through my private businesses and professional engagements over the years, I have deliberately created employment opportunities for many qualified people from Kogi East. This is not a promise born out of politics; it is a record of what I have consistently done. Those who know my journey can attest to it.

If entrusted with the mandate to represent Kogi East in the Senate, I will continue to advocate for policies that expand employment opportunities while working diligently to connect our qualified youths with legitimate federal opportunities through responsible engagement and collaboration.

Our youth deserve more than encouragement. They deserve opportunity.
