REPENTANCE IS STRENGTH

One of the most important parts of Christian growth is how we respond when we fall short of God’s standard.

We all make mistakes, but not everyone handles sin the right way.

“For godly sorrow produces repentance leading to salvation, not to be regretted; but the sorrow of the world produces death.” – 2 Corinthians 7:10

Godly sorrow is more than feeling bad about the consequences of sin. It is a deep conviction that comes because our sin offends God. It flows from a heart that values relationship with Him and hates anything that breaks fellowship.

David showed this kind of sorrow when he prayed:
“Against You, You only, have I sinned…” (Psalm 51:4).

Never get so familiar with God that you stop feeling sorry for your wrongdoings.

Learn to acknowledge your mistakes, sincerely repent, and make a commitment to live right.

Prayer: Father, thank You for the convicting ministry of the Holy Spirit. I respond to His nudging and repent of every wrong. I choose to live righteously, and I receive Your forgiveness for all my sins. Amen.
