CHRIST BECAME FLESH FOR YOU
Have you ever stopped to think about this?
Jesus did not begin in Bethlehem.
Before He was born, He already was.
John 1:1 says:
“In the beginning was the Word, and the Word was with God, and the Word was God.”
Then something extraordinary happened.
“And the Word was made flesh, and dwelt among us…” John 1:14
The One who created you entered the world He created.
The eternal One stepped into time.
The One who was above all came near to you.
God came near.
Jesus became flesh because you needed redemption.
The Bible says:
“God sent forth his Son, made of a woman, made under the law, to redeem them that were under the law…” Galatians 4:4-5
He did not come simply to live among people.
He came for you.
He came because sin had separated you from God.
He came because you could not save yourself.
He came to bring you back to the Father.
And because He became flesh, He understands the reality of human weakness.
Hebrews 4:15 says:
“For we have not a high priest which cannot be touched with the feeling of our infirmities; but was in all points tempted like as we are, yet without sin.”
He knows what it means to be tired.
He knows what it means to hurt.
He knows what it means to be rejected.
He knows what it means to be tempted.
He understands you.
Yet He remained without sin.
So when you think about the manger, do not only see a baby.
See the beginning of God's great plan to redeem you.
See the One who would become the Lamb on the Cross.
See God with you.
You are not forgotten.
You are not too far from God.
In Christ, God has come near.
Christ became flesh for you.
