A lady visited her long time friend

They're in the same department, both in school and in church, during their university days; buh lost touch with each other after they graduated

Luckily, they bumped into each other last month, exchanged contacts and agreed to visit each other's home

And she did yesterday evening

After playing with the kids for some minutes, she decided to take them out to the nearby shop

As they were picking things, the small one looked up and started sh0uting 'Daddy!' 'Daddy!'

He slipped off the lady's hand and ran to meet the man, who carried him

"Good evening, sir," the lady greeted, "Are you the man my friend talks fondly of, always?

Man: Are you kidding me?

Lady: She said you're so caring..

Man: (smiling) She's caring too. You guys came to pick things

Lady: Something like that

All the while, the older one was totally focused on the biscuits and sweets she's picking for both herself and her little brother

Man: In that case, let me get nutri milk for them at the back..

Seller: I sell nutri milk here, also

Man: No, there's this one they like a lot, it's not nutri milk, buh it's among the nutri milk family

The man left with the little boy of 3

When the little girl finished picking the biscuits and sweets, they started waiting for their 'father' to return with his 'son'

Meanwhile, the kids mother, who's already worried what could be keeping them started coming out

She met her husband on the way and he escorted her

"Look at them," she told her husband when she saw where her daughter and her friend were standing

"What of our son?" her husband asked

Wife: Let's get there first

"We stayed long, right?" the lady asked, smiling

Husband: Where's my son

Lady: (looking confused) Your son?

Wife: Yes, he's my husband

Immediately, the lady rushed to see if there's another shop at the back, buh there's none

And both the man and the boy were not seen too

They searched the whole vicinity, and the next street, and the next street; in vain

They asked everyone they came across if they saw a man with a little boy, buh nobody agreed they saw them
