So yesterday, while I was busy at Posh Queen Beauty Collections venting a 2x6 closure, a young guy walked up to me.

One thing I’m proud to say about myself is that I have a good listening ear.

He started by saying I attracted him with my physical appearance. I told him my age (I never lie about it — if anything, I usually add more 😅). He was shocked because I looked way younger!

As we talked, he began to open up about his thoughts and feelings, which I truly appreciated. But what caught my attention most was when I asked, “What do you do for a living?”

He hesitated.
After a while, he said he was learning furniture work and also had some “online side hustles.”

Being a curious babe, I pressed further — “What kind of online hustle?” I asked.

That was when he started dragging and dodging the question, even saying, “You should know nah, you’re old enough to understand what I mean…” 🙄

And right there, I knew where he was heading.

Now, this is where I want to chip in something important:
There are so many legit online businesses out there that you can be proud to talk about.

If you can’t boldly say what you do, then you already know something isn’t right.

He couldn’t admit it when I said it myself — that he was likely into “Yahoo” (internet fraud).

So, my advice to young ladies is this:

1️⃣ First, find yourself and embrace your unique self.
2️⃣ Secondly, be mindful of the kind of people you mingle with.

He shared a lot about girls — and trust me, I learned something from that conversation too:
✨ Don’t date a man who hasn’t figured out his life.

He might be broke today, and that’s fine, but make sure he knows where he’s heading and is genuinely working towards it.
