Did you know that there's a policy known as Zero Trust Policy that helps to keep you and your organization safe while in the cyber or digital space?
Let's briefly talk about it:
Zero trust policy is a cybersecurity approach that assumes that no user or device, whether outside or inside the network should be trusted by default.
You should always:
Always verify explicitly before you authenticate and authorize users and devices.
Grant only necessary permissions and access [Least privilege access].
Use strong passwords or password manager to generate and store unique and complex passwords and multi-factor authentication.
Be cautious with Emails and links always verify the sender before you click or share.
Keep your software up-to-date.
Use a reputable antivirus to protect your device.
Use a VPN when necessary as it encrypts your internet traffic especially when on public Wi-Fi.
Doing these with other security measures will help improve your security while using the cyber or digital space.
LET'S STAY SAFE.
