ARE WE CONTINUE WITH THE SAKABULA EMPOWERMENT AGAIN?

Before anyone starts the familiar evangelism on the duty of a legislator, let me first remind you that Federal Polytechnic Ayede was a product of active representation of Senator Adeseun, it's so thoughtful of Senator Adeseun to have think beyond giving out materials things as empowerment, rather something that will outlived his tenure as a senator, Today, the federal Polytechnic has been an added advantage to economic growth of Ogbomosho.

Of recent, Sen. Fatai Buhari has been carried away with the accolades and applause he's receiving from people describing him as outstanding senator, just because of his gross political tricks of Sakabuka empowerment.

Giving to people what rightly belong to them and tagging it with "Thank you" looks somehow odd, so if they didn't voted him again , he wouldn't have gave to the constituents what is theirs, that he's been hoarding for so long?

This are items that has been supplied by the Federal Government 2years back but kept hidden in a warehouse somewhere in Ogbomosho, as you can see from the picture how damp has destroyed the carton of the items.

Materials empowermentโ€™, like Okada does nothing to improve the economy of the region. All this are just jamboree financed with the Constituency fund by our distinguished Senator Fatai Buhari in the name of empowerment, the most pathetic part of the story is that people were given Vehicles and Motorcycles in a clime where roads are like death traps. This is an utter misplacement of priority and a display of callousness.

The question we should ask Sen. Fatai Buhari is what has he done to the road network system in Oyo North being the chairman house committee on land and road?. Is it too big for railway station to pass through Oke Ogun (Oyo North), these are things we really need, that'll contribute to the socio economic development of the region not all this Sakabuka materials empowerment program.

We want him to facilitate developmental projects to the region, which will outlived his tenure as a senator and produce sustainable results.

It should be known, politics and governance are not synonymous, politics is a party affair while governance is all about people, it's clarion call to the distinguished Senator to be responsible to people, they should represent the interest of larger population and think more about the welfare of the people.

It is not until our people start to be crying and carrying placards that the senator will do the needful, it is therefore a clarion call to Sen. Fatai to represent our interest to be responsible and accountable.

The reasons Igbeti is underdeveloped compare to other 2 communities in our federal constituency, Irepo/Orelope:

1. When we where old irepo, Irepo / Olorunsogo, that is when we share same LG with Kisi. Kisi never allow Igbeti to become chairman of LG.

2. Igboho has his own state lawmaker and also be in position of deputy Governor for 11 years uninterrupted 2011 to 2022.

3. Presently kisi has deputy governor and it still fighting for the remaining 2 positions in our federal constituency.

4. This is kisi plan for Igbeti in 2023

A. Deputy Governor - Kisi
B. House of Rep - Kisi
C House of Assembly - Kisi
D. Hose of Assembly 2 - Igboho (non negotiable )
E. What igbeti stand to gain in d coming 2023 general election.

APC, PDP, ACCORD, SDP in irepo/orelope/ Olorunsog put their faith in igbeti to achieve their ambitions but it is quiet unfortunate that igbeti is working against himself to please others.

Vigilante Group Arrests Two Suspects in Ibadan for Possession of Human Bones

Oluyole Security Monitoring Team in the Oluyole Local Government area of Oyo State has reportedly arrested two suspects, Rasheed Dauda, 41, and Ayoade Kehinde, 32, for possession of human bones.
The suspects were apprehended in Ibadan after the team received information about the bones hidden in the ceiling of the room in Kehindeโ€™s house.

Kehinde, who revealed the bones were taken from the remains of a deceased woman, said he and his partner decided to keep the bones in the ceiling of his house, because they were yet to decide on what to do with them.
However, Dauda, โ€‹โ€‹who admitted seeing the womanโ€™s body under a mango tree with others, denied picking the bones with Kehinde, saying he never knew the second suspect had returned to where the body had been seen.
In the meantime, OSST Commander, Olusegun Idowu, who briefed the Nigerian Tribune on the arrest, said that before the arrest, the team was briefed on how Dauda, โ€‹โ€‹who allegedly got drunk in a beer bar, began boasting that he would soon become rich.
โ€œCommunity members who heard of the bragging began to wonder what he meant. They also noticed the theft of chickens and other agricultural products in the Bare community.
โ€œIt was some of his friends who felt he was laughing at them when they were arrested for stealing chickens who turned on him, saying that what he was involved in was more terrible than what they had doneโ€, Idowu stated.
In an interview, Dauda who said he is from Popoyemoja but lives in Bare Community said, โ€œWhat happened was in March 2021 I went to Ajanla Community for work. Kehinde and two other boys accompanied me. We were on our way back when we stopped near a mango tree to pick some. One of the boys with us said he was hungry.
โ€œWhen we arrived at the mango tree, the boy ran up to meet us and invited us to see what he had discovered. When we arrived, we saw a decomposing human body and I told them to let us go home, and we left there immediately.
โ€œSince then I hadnโ€™t been to the area and didnโ€™t know anything until a few days ago when a boy ran up to me and said someone said I had human bones in my house as I wanted to put those thieving chickens on display. I called Kehinde and asked him if there were any human bones with him, and he said no, asking me where he would find any when he didnโ€™t unearth the bones of his deceased father.
โ€œThe next day, when I returned from a meeting of the members of the OPC, I heard again about this claim. I asked Kehinde and he denied it.
โ€œTo my surprise, I heard this morning that Kehinde said that we both went to look for the bones. I had no idea. In fact, the bones were found at his house and not at my houseโ€, he narrated.
However, in Kehindeโ€™s confession, he mentioned Dauda, โ€‹โ€‹saying that they both chose the skull and bones from the decaying body.
He also said he didnโ€™t know how the skull disappeared from the room where he originally kept the bones, causing him to hide other bones in his ceiling.
โ€œIt is true that human bones were found with me. I hid them in the ceiling. One day I went to the farm at Ajanla Community with Dauda. We also had Falafolo and Apesin with us. On the way to the back, Falafolo saw a dead man and ran to meet us by the side of the road. When we got to where he found the body, Dauda and I picked up the bones and put them in a cellophane bag.
โ€œWe also picked up the skull. When we got home, I told Dauda that I couldnโ€™t keep the bones with me, asking him what to do with them.
โ€œWe decided to put the bag in a room opposite my wifeโ€™s. After seven days I went to check but I couldnโ€™t find the skull. Falafolo was angry. We wondered who was supposed to pick up the skull and thought it might not have been behind Dauda.
โ€œWhen I called him to ask him he said he didnโ€™t know. He rained curses on whoever must have done it and we decided to put the bones in the ceiling. Thatโ€™s the main reason the bones were with me. We didnโ€™t want to use them for anything.
โ€œSince I came into the world, I have never sold human bones. We did not even have the identity of the deceased. We just found the body near a mango tree. It was not buried, he was just thrown into the bush. We could see the cloth the deceased was putting on. It was Ankara with a red colour. The deceased was a womanโ€, he stated.
Meanwhile, the commander said the suspects have been handed over to the Toll Gate Division of Oyo State Police Command.
