ALLI APPOINTS CAMPAIGN COORDINATOR, ZONAL HEADS FOR 2027 OYO GOVERNORSHIP BID
IBADAN — Senator (Dr) Sharafadeen Alli, the All Progressives Congress (APC) governorship candidate in Oyo State, has approved the appointment of key officers to lead his campaign organisation ahead of the 2027 governorship election.
This was contained in a statement issued by the campaign organisation on Tuesday in Ibadan.
According to the statement, Alhaji Fatai Ibikunle has been appointed Coordinator of the Campaign Organisation, with Hon. Olayemi Olugbenga named as Deputy Coordinator.
Hon. Kazeem Adesile Adedeji was also appointed Director of Administration and Secretary of the Campaign Organisation. He will be responsible for coordinating administrative activities and ensuring effective communication across the campaign structure.
The organisation further announced the appointment of zonal coordinators to drive mobilisation across the state’s geopolitical zones.
Hon. Remi Sodiq will coordinate Ibadan City, while Hon. Femi Akintunde will oversee Ibadan Outer City.
For Oke-Ogun, Hon. Oladimeji Dauda Wasiu was appointed to coordinate Oke-Ogun I, and Hon. Samuel Okunlade will handle Oke-Ogun II.
Hon. Bashir Akanbi was named Coordinator for Ogbomoso Zone, Hon. Kazeem Isiaka Arole for Oyo Zone, and Hon. Habeeb Ibrahim for Ibarapa Zone.
The campaign organisation said the appointments are part of efforts to strengthen grassroots mobilisation, enhance coordination and ensure effective engagement with stakeholders across the state ahead of the 2027 election.
It urged the appointees to work diligently, remain committed to the campaign’s objectives, and mobilise support for Alli’s bid to provide purposeful leadership for Oyo State.
