Danalf School: A Dream Come True - Dr. Kate Ogah

According to Medical doctor; Dr. Kate Oga, Danalf School was not started by her. For many years, the premises lay abandoned, overgrown with grass. But in 2020, her dad dreamt of building a school that would serve his community. At first, they tried to convince him otherwise , but the stubborn old man refused to back down.

Then, in a twist of events, she felt God nudging her to support his dream.

And so, with a lot of fear and trepidation, the journey of a tuition-free school began in September 2020.

Today, she can only say — look at what God has done!

Children in her rural village of Ibilla Igede, who might never have had the chance to go to school, are now getting an education for free.
They now have a school premises they can proudly call their own.
They have over 168 students enrolled.
They have successfully completed two years of external exams.
They employ 18 dedicated staff, whose salaries have been paid on time every single month since they started.
They dream of buying more computers for students.
They dream of installing solar power, to free them from the cost of fuel for a generator.
They lack sports equipment and would love to buy some.
And they are grateful to the Nigerian government for sending them a Chemistry NYSC teacher.
