*ORIMOLUSI CONGRATULATES CHRISTIANS ON THE BLISSFUL OCCASION OF CHRISTMAS*

The Orimolusi of Ijebu Igbo, His Royal Majesty, Alayeluwa Oba Lawrence Jaiyeoba Adebajo, Ojuromi VI, felicitates the Christians in Ijebu Igbo, Ogun State and Nigeria as they join the rest of the world in commemorating the birth of Jesus Christ.

In the words of Kabiyesi “As the world celebrates Christmas, the birth of our Lord and Saviour, Jesus Christ, it is also a time of reflection for Christians on the virtues and teachings of Jesus Christ, as well share love, hope and joy.
Alayeluwa calls on the people of the community to appreciate the strength and prospects of unity in driving the needed progress for the Kingdom. As families gather to celebrate the season, He offers sincere goodwill and urge everyone to look beyond the merriment of the celebration by using the occasion to spread love through giving and kindness”.

The Orimolusi of Ijebu Igbo, His Royal Majesty, Alayeluwa Oba Lawrence Jaiyeoba Adebajo, Ojuromi VI expresses his heartfelt gratitude to everyone who felicitated with him on his 7Ist birthday.

It’s with a heart full of greatest joy and gratitude that I appreciate everyone for the honour done to me for Almighty God’s glory in my life on my Birthday.

In the words of Alayeluwa “I feel awed, my heart is full, and glowing with gratitude upon reading all the birthday wishes, messages, prayers and the numerous gifts received in the past few days. I feel more courageous and reassured, confident, with enthusiasm and tenacity to continue serving the good people of Ijebu Igbo Kingdom, Ogun State and Nigeria in general”

I am also conveying my sincere appreciation to Ijebu Traditional Council, Ijebu North Traditional Council, Ijebu Igbo Traditional Council, Ijebu Igbo Council of Elders, Orimolusi in Council, well-meaning Ijebu Igbo sons and daughters both home and in diaspora, Ijebu Igbo citizens, government representatives, corporate organisations, faith organisations, social clubs, educational institutions, trade associations, family and friends all over the world.

This is a novel health initiative for us to tap into.
It is an intervention of the Association of Ijebu Igbo Descendants(AIID), North America with the support of Orimolusi of Ijebu Igbo and Ijebu Igbo Council of Obas.

ORIMOLUSI BEGINS TOWNSHIP ROAD REMEDIAL WORKS

As part of the effort towards having a safe, efficient and smooth traffic flow within the community, Ijebu Igbo Development Works has commenced the patching of potholes along Ijebu Igbo roads.

Ijebu Igbo Development Works is a Community Project Development initiative of The Orimolusi of Ijebu Igbo, Alayeluwa Oba Lawrence Jaiyeoba Adebajo, Ojuromi VI.

The project kicked off yesterday at Odorasoyin , by Abusi Edumare Academy.

Other spots marked for patch up are:
• Odorasanyin-Tundenson Hotel Junction
• Haruna Ishola Junction by Opeloyeru Filling Station
• Town Hall Road, Near Nigeria Post Office
• Foot of Overhead Bridge, opposite Mosalasi Abesin
• Oke Jaga by Alhaji Ballys’s House
• Oke Jaga by Central Mosque

Road users are implored to exhibit patience during the project period.

The team is looking forward to the full cooperation of our people in ensuring a successful outcome.
